Olde Worlde feel with modern home comforts and the feeling of a little bit country but still close to the Mountains and the Tongariro National Park.
All the best to be had in this lovely holiday home, it was part of history as a turn of the century milling cottage and boasts an incredible make over. Beautiful timber wall linings create that rustic ambience and warmth. A designer kitchen to enjoy and a super large living area, so space to share with family and friends. The bath to relax in a bonus after a great outdoors day and a new efficent woodburner for cosy comfort. Watch the flickering flames and sip on a kiwi red!
Located within the Village of Raurimu the home of the world famous "Spiral" and the gateway to the mighty Whanganui River, but also means you are within 20 minutes drive to the Mountain. Make this your base to do the most amazing one day walk, the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. If weather is not suitable there are many other great walks within the area. We can arrange your transport, with shuttle bus services to the mountains, guided hikes and mountain bike transport available. We had a great stay , love the place very cute
Great, spacious property with everything we needed. Lovely bath to relax in and warm fire place. Place was nice a warm when we arrived, and great location near to Whakapapa ski field.
the house is very clean and very warm. they have heater in each room and the fire log is great. the kitchen has good facilities. the only thing you should be aware is that there is no internet or mobile phone coverage in the place (and it takes you few min drive to get coverage). overall we had a good time and would stay there again.
It is a great cozy house with beautiful fireplace and comfy beds. We rented it for our family of 5 this time but thinking of getting together with friends for a next trip as it is big enough to accommodate at least 2 families. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We had everything we needed there. There is no mobile coverage, but we enjoyed this offline time. Good private location, close to everything we needed. All our family had a great time.
