The unobstructed view of the Great Smokey Mountains is awesome. The space and well equipped kitchen is very comfortable for our group of "senior" travelers. Conveniently located near the gateway to Gatlinburg.
Don't settle onto the idea of a long hot and relaxing shower after a arduous hike on a cool November day. Not enough hot water to go around. Soap, rinse and move on. You can relax over an adult beverage by the fireplace.
The burners on the BBQ gas grill would cook much better by replacing or at least cleaning.
Don't leave the front or back exterior door cracked open unless you are willing to welcome in a visitor from the local raccoon population. Friendly, but hungry little critters. Be assured they don't understand your language.
We will probably return again next year, hoping for a better supply of hot water and a cleaner BBQ grill. We had mixed reviews within our party about the comfort of the beds. Some good, some "so, so". None bad. But, how good must it be for only a couple of nights?
We had a great time! The house is very spacious.
The property is very nice, beautiful views, good location, great floorplan. I would give 5 Stars if it weren't for the horrible beds. Every room has a mattress that they must have gotten for $100 each. They were uncomfortable, didn't have mattress pads, and made horrendous squeaking noises at every slight movement. I saw other reviewers say the same thing but thought maybe they had replaced them by now. The mattresses weren't worthy of a Motel 6. It is really a shame that a property this nice in other ways would have something so cheap
This cabin had everything we needed. Very clean, everything worked and close to town. Would definitely stay here again!!
Cabin is everything advertised, plenty of room with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, and clean. Easy access to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
Some of the furniture is showing a little wear, and there could have been more than one dish towel and cloth in the main level kitchen.
Also, it would have been a nice addition, if the cabin had access to the in-ground swimming pool located in the subdivision, but it wasn't listed on the pool access sign.
I would give it 4.5 stars.
Excellent cabin we had 13 in our group and we still had room. Rural location but only five minutes into town.
