This really a getaway from it all

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful view. Kinda old but still great hot tub, just make sure you turn it up to your required temp at least 30 minutes before you want to use it. Comfy bed, I slept very well. No cell phone reception (for AT&T) which for me was a total PLUS PLUS but free wifi :). Oh and it has directTV with more than local stations which was good for some relaxing late night binge watching. And say hi to the local swan...I wanted to give him a bath ;) Wish I could've stayed longer.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay, especially the hot tub! Our team keeps our hot tubs, clean and ready to enjoy. Yes! You can adjust the temperature to you liking, too. Cell reception isn't very good, texting works best. This place also has a land line anyone can forward their cell phone so that no calls are missed. Come on and book your dates here! Enjoy that much deserved getaway that won't break the piggy bank.

Everything was great!! We were able to fish, relax, grill out, rest, use the canoe and never leave.

  • 4 of 5

We would highly reccommend this to anyone looking to escape to the woods/lake. Beautiful scenery, relaxing atmosphere, over all a great experience,(We brought hammovksin hopes of hanging them and napping, but the trees were too far apart but it happens.) We have no complaints at all!!

Great time

  • 5 of 5

We had a great trip from the time we got there from to the time we left. The internet is not very reliable but that is not why you are there. We had a fire each night and s'mores came out great.

Had a wonderful time!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time exploring in the canoe, floating in the inflatable tubes we'd brought, enjoying the hot tub, reading on the deck, and grilling most of our meals. We were happy to be able to bring our three dogs with us as well—much better than having to kennel them. It was a nice, peaceful, quiet vacation. We would rent this place again.

Excellent Location

  • 4 of 5

Great location! You can walk out of your cottage and fish, canoe, or sit by the fire. The cottage is small and dank but the price is right. If you plan to spend time in the cabin than this is not the place for you. If you want an affordable place to sleep right on the lake than this is for you.

It's not clear in the information but you share the dock with other cottages, not a problem just a surprise when we got there. The cottage itself is just a place to sleep or make a quick meal. 500 square feet as the ad says and a mobile home but it was much smaller than I thought it would be and smelled a bit musty. Stay in the outdoors or on the porch and you will love this place.
