Parnell Villa Particular (Spanish for "private" Villa) is fully self-contained boutique accommodation located in a classic cottage in a quiet cul de sac. Nestled in a sub-tropical garden of a villa in Auckland's historic village of Parnell, this self-contained one-bedroom guest accommodation is a restful sanctuary from the bustle of modern living suiting tourists, travellers and short term occupiers.
Excellent location within walking distance of the vibrant CBD, fashionable Newmarket, Parnell shops and the War Memorial Museum located in the Domain, sitting high up on one of Auckland's many extinct volcanoes only a short stroll away; here you can also enjoy the exotic flora of the Winter Gardens glasshouse and wide views of the city, and host to free classic music in summer weekends; or wander down through the New Zealand native bush walks. Alternatively, you can stroll through the beautiful Parnell Rose Gardens down to Judges Bay beach and the Parnell Baths which are less than five minutes stroll from Parnell Villa Particular. Also nearby is the historic St Mary's Cathedral.
The local shops are a two or three minute stroll and include a chemist, butcher, greengrocer, dairy, wine cellar and a typical New Zealand fish and chip shop, as well as Rosehip, an excellent and busy cafe. The very popular French market, La Cigale, is also on your doorstep, open every Saturday (the best day) and Sunday morning for all your fresh produce, croissants and other divine pastries, and an enormous array of foods. There is also the Parnell Farmers' Market nearby every Saturday morning. adjacent to the Jubilee building and its cute cafe and gorgeous boutique shops.
Parnell Villa is approximately 25 minutes from Auckland International Airport; buses run regularly through Parnell to the city, including the Link bus which is an excellent way to travel to the city, Ponsonby and Newmarket.

Good location. Enjoyed Saturday morning farmers market near apartment. Clean, tastefully decorated and everything needed was provided.

Location about 15 mins walk to Parnell Rd, where the restaurants are. Though on Gladstone Rd there are a small group of shops including wine store, Sushi, fish and chips, groceries, fruit and vege, butchers and a lovely restaurant called Rosies. everything you need for a night in,
The 703 bus is at the the end of the street to take to town our out of town towards Parnell rd.
There are lovely parks near by too, easy walking distance.
The unit is very very comfortable, and welcoming.
The villa is extremely comfortable and a great place to relax. The bed is comfortable, and the pantry is well stocked with cooking basics as is the kitchen with utensils.
Location is 15 mins walk from Parnell Rd where the main restaurant strip is. However Gladstone rd has a small shopping centre, with great fish and chips , wine store, grocers and a lovely restaurant called Rosie's. There are lovely parks very close by for a walk or run.
Excellent location. French market was awesome! It was a very functional villa for 2 people. We walked to downtown Auckland for shopping and food. We were within walking distance of 2 comedy bars and the rose gardens. Rosies for breakfast was delicious!
