Located in a quiet rural area 5 km from Alexandra. Close to two DOC reserves, a dam for swimming and fishing and a vineyard. Great walking and mountain biking in the area.

The quintessential holiday house experience. The place was clean, tidy, and well prepared ie; as we had arrived on Christmas Eve there was even a wee christmas tree set up. Absolute bonus was being able to take our dog.
The quintessential holiday house experience, a real bonus that we could take our dog.
Handy to Alexandra. Clean and tidy, everything you needed provided. Kitchen space very limited if you wished to cook for yourself. Very Quiet.
It's a great find, and of course for this price it is not 5 stars, but perfectly comfortable. Has all the necessities (if a little dark inside), with the added bonus of interesting history.
It's very spacious outside and just so peaceful.
It's properties like these in this price range that Book a Bach needs more of. Very grateful to the owners for allowing the public to experience this.
I loved the setting and the house. We found it difficult having to access toilet and bathroom through someone's bedroom at night.
Great location under the Old Man range and not far from Alexandra and Earnscleugh - two of the nicest regions in NZ. Old historic stone cottage but with modern facilities.
