|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Two large bedrooms along with two large decks overlooking the Great Salt Bay are the key features of this condo. The kitchen/living space is small; however, you can spread out on the two decks, the 5 acres of land, or lounge by the in-ground pool. The largest bedroom is reached by its own spiral staircase and features its own deck perfect for star gazing at night or waking up to views of the bay in the morning.
It is a clean, cozy, and comfortable condo perfect for a family of four or four adults. It is accessed through a common area door with a set of stairs.
It is a phenomenal location central to many great mid-coast experiences in Maine. You are 40 minutes from Freeport (think LL Bean Outlet and Cold River Vodka Distillery), an hour north of Portland (fantastic for foodies), and 45 minutes south of Camden Maine (more great hiking). The condo is also great just for staying local and enjoying the sights and sounds of Damariscotta, Boothbay, and famous Pemaquid Point.
New Jersey Native, I've been traveling to this region of Maine for over ten years. I purchased this condo in 2012 and look to share this little piece of heaven with other travelers. I am happy to share all the rare gems of the Damariscotta region inclusive of great restaurants, phenomenal hiking, and best lobster docks. I remain friendly with many locals and can pass you along to excellent guides.

Upon arriving we found everything to be as described. The condo is just like a place at your own home. It was clean and cozy.
The porch you could sit at outside and listen to the birds and look over to the river.
The kitchen was stocked with comforts of your own home. I only cooked one small meal there because my parents spoiled us.
We went to eat at "Sarah's" and the Ice cream shop-that was awesome, "Moody's " was also great food.
The hospitality of the people in this town is impeccable.
This home was cozy and exactly what we needed. We loved it here and hope to return one day. Our trip was short, Spent two days driving and only three days of stay. Next time it will need to be a week or even two. Thank you for being an enjoyable wonderful part of our trip to Maine.
What a great place! Clean, comfortable, and quiet in a charming town! The condo is small but was just perfect for my husband, his brother and me to stay in for my niece's wedding which was at the Round Top Barn just down the road (also a beautiful place!). Kristen was fabulous to work with; answering my many questions quickly and honestly! My security deposit was refunded promptly and accurately. The area is beautiful with many things to do and great places in town to eat and explore. Don't miss Round Top Ice Cream right next door!
This is a great condo! It accommodates four people very nicely. The pictures of the furnishings are accurate and the unit was very clean with many extra supplies. It is quiet and peaceful and just down the road is a great walking trail and of course Round Top Ice Cream (amazing ice cream!). Kristen is very responsive and helpful, even with the many questions I asked. Damariscotta is a great town with a little bit of everything in it. Large grocery store, large hardware store, pizza, seafood, bookshop and coffee shop, car wash and very close to Pemaquid Light House and beach, the salt pond and some great views along the rocky coast - all great places! The pool at the condo is clean and the new lounge chairs are very nice! The tenants were very friendly and we loved chatting with them. Thanks, Kristen! We hope to come back!
We found this property to be as described. Kristen gave us great recommendations of local information and restaurants. The ice cream shop nearby was excellent. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The cozy kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans. This is a quiet getaway in a small town with many nearby points of interest.
Kristen was excellent to work with and was very helpful and accommodating. This was our first trip to Maine and she had a lot of great recommendations and information about the area.
The condo was exactly as described and pictured online. Not many full time residents in this complex, so we had the pool to ourselves the whole time with the exception of one evening. Very nice-- like having a private pool essentially. The rest of the property was nice and very quiet. The bedrooms were comfortable and linens were clean. The kitchen is equipped with dishes and the appliances work. It is very small, so if you want to cook a lot it isn't ideal, but it worked for us just fine.
The location is really quite nice. Damariscotta is a cute little town among many others nearby. We enjoyed visiting Pemaquid Point which is very close to the condo. We made a trip up to Acadia which was a bit farther than we thought it would be (the roads in Maine aren't exactly as direct and fast as we are used to), but it was still managable. We also went down to Old Orchard Beach to get that experience, and that was a pretty easy drive. There is really so much to do if you want to -- or if you don't feel like venturing out, spend a day at the pool!

This condo features an in-ground pool and approximately 5 acres of land to hike and enjoy. For the adventurous hiker, you can take the trail down to the water and launch your own kayak etc. The township is in the process of putting in a RiverWalk Trail from the condo into the heart of town.
Within .25 miles you will find the famous Round Top Ice Cream Store, a large Hannaford grocery store, gas station, hardware store, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Sports Bar, laundry facilities, a YMCA, and the community Damariscotta Rive Association where community events and concerts are held.
Within 1 mile is the hub of Damariscotta filled with excellent restaurants and bars such as The Salt Bay Cafe, King Eiders Pub, Schooner Landing (scenic outdoor bar on the water), and The Publick House. These restaurants and bars are along the waterfront all different types of shops and stores between. Within a fifteen minutes drive you can enjoy the Dodge Point Public Reserve with four hiking paths along the shoreline and beaches. Local farmers markets are also set up various days from May-October.
Going south, Portland is within an hour. Going north, Camden Hills is within an hour. Within 45 minutes you will be in Freeport for the famous LL Bean Outlet, various outlet shopping, the Cold River Vodka Distillery, and more hiking at state parks and lighthouse views.
