Calm, quiet,, relaxing. Loved it!
Used to live in Rhinebeck and stay here when visiting family
Nice house in a great neighborhood. If you’re looking for a quiet get away in this area this is it. House is clean and well appointed
Quiet neighborhood near town
This is our 'go to' place in Rhinebeck, with all the comforts of home. On this particular trip, we asked Trish if a friend from Vermont could stay with us one night, since it was quite a distance for our friend to travel for a day trip. Trish graciously allowed us that request. We enjoy being able to spread out in the space and enjoy the privacy of a house instead of being restricted by someone else's schedule in a B&B or hotel. We hope to be granted the privilege of returning to this comfortable house.
Clean and functional
House was clean and had basic staples such as coffee sugar spices etc. minor problem finding linens when we discovered the bed weren’t made. The One bath is very close to the bedrooms but the other is in combination with the laundry. Stayed here rather than the omega institute and it’s only a 14 minute drive away. Need a GPS to navigate All in all the house was fine and I would rent it again
A Beautiful, Quaint Location!
Located in a nice quiet neighborhood, this wonderful home is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, home is spacious, and yard is welcoming and private. Trish was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!
We were pleasantly surprised...the cottage actually matched the photographs (we haven’t always found this to be the case). Trish & Richard are the perfect hosts...very accommodating (even left a family birthday party to come over and help us with a TV issue we were having). The cottage is stocked with plenty of cookware, linens, blankets (not needed), books, even DVDs, etc. definitely recommend. It is also just a few minutes from the center of Rhinebeck village which is really very nice - we fell in love with it. Some very good restaurants too.
Rhinebeck is in the heart of the scenic Hudson Valley, home to many historic mansions and grand estates open to the public. The music and theatre at Bard College, home of the American Symphony Orchestra, is world class. Upstate Films in downtown Rhinebeck is a wonderful arts cinema.
