About Maurice Healy
Hello Welcome to our home. We are Valerie and Maurice Healy. We grew up in Ireland, and now live in England........when we can't spend time in Boothbay! We first discovered Boothbay Harbor in the 1970s when we were students, working many happy summers in the town. We just could not get enough! As our family of three boys got older, we just had to re-establish our Boothbay connection, first renting, then buying this lovely property. Our home in Boothbay has been such an asset to our family life; our young adult sons truly look at Boothbay as their second home, not just a vacation place.
Maurice Healy purchased this Condo in 2003
Why Maurice Healy chose West Boothbay Harbor
It is so tranquil, yet convenient. Is at the water's edge, a short stroll to town shops and restaurants, We did a full refurbishment just a few years ago including a very smart new kitchen and all new bathrooms and appliances. It has a clean uncluttered feel to it, over 2,000 sq. feet for your use....... We just love it!
What makes this Condo unique
Mostly the peace and quiet of Maine.

We had a wonderful stay in Boothbay. The home was warm and inviting and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. We especially appreciated the pantry items available... seasonings, cooking spray, coffee, plastic wrap, etc. There are beautiful views from the family room and the home is within walking distance of everything you could hope to access while on vacation. It was actually easier to walk than to find a parking space near shopping/dining. The people who live in Boothbay were welcoming and friendly. They treated us as if we were part of their family. If you are vacationing in Boothbay, this home would be the perfect place to spend your time. I promise... you won't be disappointed!
Home away from home
This condominium has been our vacation choice over the past 2 years in the Fall of the year. We love this place and it truly is a home away from home in an excellent location that allows you to walk everywhere in Boothbay for shopping and dining.
We are repeat renters, that says it all. A wonderful place to stay, Maurice and Valerie are the best.
Well rested and full of lobster, couldn't ask for a more pleasant week.
Thank you to the Healy's for opening up their beautiful condo for our stay at Boothbay. Their home offered all the warm and fuzzies for a wonderful stay. From the morning with coffee on the deck, to the daily walks into town for shopping, lunch and/or dinner, etc. We ate in 4 nights after discovering Eventide Specialty store. Pick out your own lobster and they will steam it for you. Delicious. Ports of Italy was our favorite dinner restaurant. Unfortunately we got there the week everything was beginning to close for the season, so we have limited places to choose from.
Beautifully appointed condominium with water biews
Absolutely beautiful and spacious condo with great view of the water. We enjoyed the easy walk to all restaurants. You will want to return
Clean, comfortable home in a great location. Within walking distance to all that Boothbay Harbor has to offer. Highly recommend.

Daytrips to Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland. Antiqueing in Wiscasset and Hallowell.
One hour from L.L.Bean and so many outlet shops in Freeport.
A short walk to the boat that goes to Monhegan Island daily.
Close to Barrett Park, a lovely park right on the water with great swimming and relaxing.
Southport Island is a short drive and there you will find Hendrick's Head Light and a small beach.

The historic Opera House in downtown Boothbay Harbor has an amazing line-up of concerts and shows all year long. Oh yes, and the food....great variety of food, many places to have lobster and other seafood as well as Italian, Vietnamese and the very famous Dunton's Doghouse is just up the street.
