Okay....the view from our room was beautiful. However, the view is only from the living room/kitchen area. This condo has the bedroom right off the doorway that you enter so you get no ocean view there. It is a VERY small one bedroom. I have stayed in much more spacious one bedroom condos. The condo needs updating but if I was renting it out, I would hate to invest a lot of money in it either. I actually saw people that had taken a bedspread out of their unit down to the beach. I know people are very inconsiderate of other's property at times so I understand why the owner would hesitate to spend a lot of money to update this unit. Also, because the unit was on the top floor and they happened to be renovating the elevators, there was quite a bit of wait time for an elevator. We were unable to get ice from the ice dispenser on the refrigerator door. Overall, we just were not very happy with this unit and we don't plan to rent it again. However, I may stay at the Boardwalk Beach Resort again. I would not recommend this particular unit to family and friends.
Enjoyed my time at the condo. It was a bit confusing at first finding where to go to get the condo keys but the parking garage guards were very helpful. The condo is located on the 22nd floor which allows for great views of the gulf of Mexico. There were some things which I wish were addressed. The matress in the bedroom was terrible. Had to sleep on the bunk beds. It would have been better if the room had a king size bed instead of a queen but the room is so small a king size would not fit. When you flush the toilet it is so loud and it runs for a long time. I wish there were more pots, pans etc to cook with. The furniture needed a definite up grade. The couches and chairs were dirty and stained. If all thoses things were addressed then it definitely would be worth what was paid to stay there. All in all it wasn't terrible but it had the potential to be better
We stayed in c2207. The ice maker didn't work and we didn't have enough trash bags for the six of us. Other than that it was all great!
There are too many rules that must be follows in the pool area. Many of the other guest complained of the same experience. I understand security approaching and speaking to individuals who were out of hand, but they approached people repeatedly for not having an arm band. My adult son was approached multiple times one evening for having a plastic glass that apparently looked like it was made of glass. Excessive to me. I will not choose this location again.
The pool is awesome for the kids. The room was very nice and clean. Bed not super comfortable. The bar is great, but was a little slow considering that we stayed during memorial day weekend, there was only one bartender. He was really good though. The place was a bit difficult to figure out where to check in at. Overall good experience, and a nice getaway.
