I am sitting outside our villa next to the private pool as I write this on the morning of our departure. We have had a wonderful trip with our grown sons (20 and 22) and are packing to head back to the frigid East Coast.
We stayed in a two bedroom (one queen, one two queen), two bath house (#1432) and it was perfect for our family. We were able to hang out together and have long conversations we never would have had if we had been in separate hotel rooms.
The resort is beautiful and there is more than enough space to camp out around various pools and on the beach. We loved not having to fight for good chairs.
We rented a cabana one day. It was pricey, but the experience was great. All four of us enjoyed a beach day together and had lunch in the cabana. You put a green flag out and someone will come and take your order. The cabana came with fresh fruit and a fridge stocked with sodas and fruit juices. We did not order anything besides lunch but someone came by every once in awhile to bring a treat, like frozen watermelon. They also brought snacks in the afternoon. It was very decadent -- to get the full affect I think you would want to order adult beverages at the appropriate time! If you don't want to be disturbed there is a flag for that, too.
We pre-ordered "provisions" (breakfast foods, coffee, snacks beer and wine) from the resort for our villa before we arrived so there was food here and we did not have to go to breakfast every day and one day we even skipped lunch and had cheese and crackers and fruit by the pool instead. There are a couple of nice grocery stores not too far away so a cab ride to stock up might be an even better and less expensive option.
We loved being able to take long walks on the property and on the beach and being able to walk to dinner. We ate at Mangoes-- once for dinner and once for the Reggae Sunday brunch-- both times it was awesome. The food is lovely but it would be worth going there just for the views.
We had a fun day in town and visited the Alexander Hamilton museum and ate at Cafe des Arts. There was a market where people were selling fresh vegetables, barbecue and other things. I think it's every Friday and Saturday and there's also a market on Tuesdays.

Our trip has not been flawless but the Four Season has made every effort to fix every problem, however small, and that's all you can really ask for. The staff is extremely responsive and kind.
