New barn with large bedrooms overlooking farmland and gardens yet only minutes away from three villages where shopping is leisurely and easy. Our famous Saturday morning Matakana Markets are a must to go and see. With lots of very good restaurants around. French/Italian/degustation/pubs and bars aplenty. Beaches and bush walks along with cycle tracks are all round the area. Swimming with the fish at Goat Island is a must and the Milk trip to Kawau is also very interesting for history lovers and the beaches on the Island are wonderful. Needless to say fishing in the area is great. Diving for scallops, cockles and crayfish in season along with snapper, travelly and deep sea fishing all in the area. Horse treks and animal farms for the children. Wonderful native bush walks with many near extinct birds have been captured and put into our Tawharanui Reserve. Kiwi walks at night are a must even if only to hear their calls! Sandy golden beaches for walking and playing on. Swimming in summer a must also surf beaches only minutes away. There is so much to do in the area that a few days will not be enough! Another trip for another time.

Excellent location in Matakana. The Bach is beautiful and well equipped. Lovely modern decor and plenty of space.
Perfect location for our purposes, a wedding in Matakana.
The barn house was a delightful sight -- well furnished and maintained. All amenities included and lots of room for a larger group. Beautiful gardens surrounding the outside. It was a restful getaway from the city. We absolutely loved it :)
