The area is beautiful and our family has stayed in this high rise several times and always enjoyed how nicely the condos are kept as well as the amazing beach and lagoon views. However this condo was subpar as far as cleanliness, there were broken dishware & appliances in kitchen and the patio furniture was horribly cheap & rusted. We notified Kaiser, the mgt co, and the customer service rep said the would notify the manager and get back with us. We heard nothing.
We had a great time! The condo is beautiful, the kitchen is large and we loved the hot tub/pool and beach nearby!
Our family enjoyed our stay at Summerhouse west. The condo was great and we loved having the ice machine. Also it was really nice that our condo was the only one on the floor. The beach was very close and no issues walking to it. It was not very crowded which was really nice. The pool was great as well. Unfortunately the beds were not very comfortable and the patio furniture was just OK. Also when we arrived at 5pm they were still cleaning the condo, it was suppose to be available at 3.
Loved the area , but not the little amount of parking, the two pools was great. Lagoon behind you , ocean in front.
We rented this Luxury Condo in Alabama Shores for an adult vacation. Super place with lots of room. 4 bedrooms and baths. A powder room and laundry. Right across the street from the beach. Nice pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend this place.
Good location for sight seeing and having a home base. One hour to Pensacola. If you go to Pensacola but sure to try McGuire's Pub. Good food and atmosphere. Close to Mobile, and Dauphin Island. Toured the USS Alabama and submarine. Went to Gulf Coast Gator in Moss Point, MS about 90 minutes away. Great tour. The Shed is near there great BBQ and cool place.
Very clean and you have everything you needed to cook meals for a night in. Has a dishwasher, large fridge, great stove too. Plenty of shopping nearby. Walmart, Publix, Rouse's Grocery story, (good place) and souvenir stores.
Stop in at the Information Center for "things to do". They were very helpful. Husband and brother-in-law went out fishing on a charter, they enjoyed that. There is Gulf State Park in Orange Beach. You can rent bikes right next door and ride through the Park. Saw a few gators on that ride.
The Waffle House was an experience, food was good and staff friendly.
We would love to go back there someday. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.
