A large and spacious home in the heart of the Plateau. Fully renovated. Everything state of the art. Yet with many of the features that draw people to the Plateau area.
In the living room, sleek elegant contemporary furnishings are complemented by the original tiled fireplace mantelpiece.
There is a leather couches and armchairs, a glass topped coffee table, and a large wall unit with a flatscreen television. There are also the original tall windows looking out onto a quiet side street.
Down the corridor is the spacious dining room, with a large dining room table, with the setting enhanced my original art work. There is also a smaller table for a quiet coffee in the morning.
The kitchen is fully state of the art with a large gas stove. It looks out onto the terrace, where there is a large patio table, ideal for summer dining.
Off the kitchen is the terrace, from which one can step down to a garden area.
There is also a powder room on the ground floor.
The 3 bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, and also original art work and a comfortable chair.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, plus original art work and a comfortable chair.
The third bedroom has a single bed - a trundle bed, meaning that there is a second bed that can be pulled out. Then one has either 2 singles, or one king size bed.
There is also the elegant main bathroom, which features 2 sinks that are back to back, a jacuzzi tub, and a separate shower.
There are also 2 balconies, one looking out onto the back, and especially the terrace one floor below, and a second small one looking onto the street.

Stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.

How much we enjoyed our stay at Avenue Laval! We all liked the beautiful and generously furnished apartment and the neighborhood (Carré Saint Louis became our favourite coffee time place), and all this made our vacation in Montreal so successful.
From beginning to end our stay at this beautiful property was ideal. Everyone whom we interacted with were generous and kind. We arrived late at night and were greeted warmly and made welcome. We will definitely stay at this property on our next visit to Montreal.

Our group of four adults and two children spent four nights at this lovely home in Montreal. The house is in a good location...close to the Sherbrooke metro station, and many restaurants on Boul St-Laurent. There are two fair size bedrooms and a large master bedroom on the upper floor. A nice tv room, large dinning room, and nice kitchen on the main floor. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. We noticed during our trip to Quebec that many of the places have a lot of stairs which may be an issue for people with mobility issues. The home has several stair up to the front door and about 20 steps to the upper floor.
My friends just left this wonderful house... we rented last year (labor day weekend) Everyone was very helpful and very nice ( Andrée-Anne, Claude and Philippe) it was very easy to plan and pay -
Again, I strongly recommend this place! it's a home away from home !
Our family of 5 enjoying staying in this house. It is close to the metro which is an easy ride to all the locations in Montreal. The house is very clean and nice furnishings. Would highly recommend this place for the quality and the location.
My wife and I spent a lot of time looking a rental for our 5 day stay in Montreal with our 3 kids. This place turned out to be a great choice. It's a large, tastefully decorated house on a quiet street in the Plateau district. The metro is a short walk away, as are many restaurants and other amenities. We were greeted on our arrival by Andrée-Anne, who gave us a thorough tour and offered us plenty of useful information on local restaurants and shops.
It was a warm week in Montreal, so we appreciated the air conditioning and ceiling fans, as well as the outdoor dining area.
We were worried about having only one and a half bathrooms for five people, and the full bath did get busy sometimes, but the attractiveness of the house and the location made up for that.
The Plateau Mont Royal area. One could call it the Montmartre of Montreal. Lots of artisan shops, restaurants, creativity.
Within easy reach of downtown, Old Montreal, the Palais des Congres, the festival areas, Parc Lafontaine. McGill and Concordia Universities, UQAM, and much more.
