We spent 10 days and had a wonderful time. This apartment made things convenient for us and our friends staying at ESJ next door. It was clean, had everything we needed for the beach and John, the owner and his property manager, Franchie were extremely attentive and always available for questions and concerns. My family and I will be back here later this year.

Pleasant Stay

I had the pleasure in staying at this cozey condo for a second time. Both times very pleasurable, But the second time was even better. the condo was very clean and comfortable. I love the fact that you have everything you need to hit the beach with. Beach chairs, radio,cooler, towels...etc. would definitley recommend it to any of my friends and family. Looking forward to staying there again.

Great, quiet place!! Love the new decor!

My second stay and it's always clean, comfy and convenient to the beach, restaurants, etc. Franchie is a doll! John is a great landlord who keeps in touch thru the whole process.

I'll be back for the holidays!

Place had potnential

I'm going to try and be objective with my review. However, first impressions are lasting impressions.

We arrived for the check in at 4 pm and the apartment floor was filthy so it clearly had not been swept or mopped prior to our arrival. I immediately mentioned it to Frenchie who attempted to start vacuuming the floor as we stood there. I told him I'd do it myself as we had plans and had to shower and dress immediately. He apologized and left. I then found hair all over the toilet bowl and hair on the bed sheets. Toothpaste all over the bathroom sink. A 3/4 empty bottle of wine in the refrigerator and an empty bottle of ice tea on the counter. Clearly, the place had not been cleaned and the sheets had not been replaced prior to our arrival. Completely disgusting and unacceptable.

I immediately voiced my displeasure to Frenchie and to the owner John. The following morning I purchased bed sheets and when replacing the pillow cover, I noticed the pillow was covered in large yellow stains and was disgusted that my face was ever on the pillow. I noticed the owner had a Pennsylvania address on his email and let him know of the conditions in case he was unaware that his property was not being properly tended to. After a few emails, he became a bit defensive but did ask how he would be able to fix it. Unfortunately, there was no way for him to fix what had already occurred. I attempted to clean myself but there was a broken mop head, Swiffer with no pads and a Swiffer wet mop with no pads and was inoperable. Based on this alone, I would never stay here again.

Location: The location is convenient and walking distance to restaurants, shops and other hotels. Beach access is not very convenient.

Room: I already expressed the condition the room was found in. The bed and the futon were comfortable. There were plenty of beach chairs and they were comfortable. The beach umbrella was not strong enough for the wind so I suggest renting one on the beach if you want one. The cooler was dirty, had a cracked handle and the handle was stuck as it seems that sand is never wiped off. However, I cleaned it and it was functional. Unfortunately, had it not been for the dirty condition of the room, it would have been a decent rental. I'm leaving my review so that anyone else who decides to rent it is well aware of the issue I had. John was easy to reach but I believe he has misplaced trust in his property manager.

Owner's Response: Upon hearing from him, I offered to rectify the situation immediately. My on site manager had done so as well and we were both refused. There was no need to buy anything when it would have been taken care of on the spot.Plenty of clean bedding, towels, etc. are on site. As it turned out, I misinformed my manager of the date for check in by one day. This is why the apartment wasn't ready. All in all, whenever a problem is at hand, it gets fixed immediately if not sooner. If this were a hotel, the same situation would have been addressed to the renter's satisfaction. However we were not given that chance. We even waived the cleaning fee immediately upon check in. This was a fluke and miscommunication on my part. I want all of my renters to be completely satisfied. C'mon down everyone!! You WILL be happy!

Great Value Studio Condo

I had the pleasure of staying in this condo with my daughter and granddaughter for one week. It's a very comfortable and efficient space. Franchie the manager is always available to answer questions and or concerns. It is a very clean cozy condo that accommodated our needs. The building is quiet and the pool is great. I will definitely be renting this condo in the future if available. They also include a parking space which is a huge bonus, since parking in Isla Verde is quite limited.

The apartment was dirty.

I didn't like the way the apartment was giving to us. Very dusty on the furniture and underneath the bed. The floors were dirty. The sheets of the bed were different colors not white. They only gave us 2 towels for 8 days and these towels were different colors not white. In the kitchen draws we can find all kind of fixture materials (lite bulbs, handy man items, etc.) Very hard to find the necessary items like an iron. The kitchen sink had broken glass and only one bowl. I told John of my experiences , but he was too busy with his wedding plans. The apartment is in a very good location, but the condition of the apartment and the attitude of the person taking care of the apartment its not worth staying again. I hope the next guess can get a better condition apartment.

Owner's Response: It's a shame she wrote this. She and her husband stayed 10 days and didn't advise me nor my apt. manager of ANY issues until TWO HOURS before check out. If conditions were as bad as they sound, would anyone stay more than one night? I sure as hell wouldn't. I''d be the first to complain until the issue was fixed. I will not dignify this by getting into specifics. Read her message VERY carefully and look at my previous tenants reviews and ask yourself, what is the real motive here? She even gave me an 24 hour ultimatum the DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. Again ask yourself, what is her motive? If you want to rent my place, you ill be treated like family, nothing more, nothing less. Staying at St. Tropez in Isla Verder

The condo is a studio that is clean and cozy. You have a great view from the balcony. Everything you needed was available. Why I chose this place was because it has security 24/7 and I felt safe staying by myself. Also the price to rent the place was reasonable. I am so pleased with this choice. Besides my friends were staying at ESJ Towers and it was convenient for all of us to meet. Everything was close by. I recommend this place very much. Thanks again John for being so attentive with me. Looking forward to rent this place again. I felt at home.
