Exceptionally light and airy penthouse located in the center of Sesimbra and 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. The penthouse has 3 bedrooms (1 super king bed, 1 double and 2 single beds) and 2 full baths and 1 WC. Huge amount of storage in each room. There is a large, bright open plan living room / dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. An additional person could sleep on the comfortable couch in the living room.

All rooms have sliding glass doors leading to the enormous private terrace which covers the flat on 3 sides. Barriers have been put up on all sides making it safe for children. The south-facing position of the flat offers ability to enjoy sunrise, sunset as well as fantastic view of all of Sesimbra and the surrounding Natural Reserve of Arrabida.

Amenities include fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, Internet, Cable TV with 90 channels and DVD, air conditioning, outdoor barbecue, ping pong table, elliptical machine, linens provided. Covered parking garage. Communal pool.

Portable crib is also available upon request.

Fantastic Apartment

This penthouse apartment is wonderful. The property is clean and well positioned. There is so much space and everything you need is provided. It is situated high up in the beautiful Sesimbra with fantastic views. Sesimbra is a sleepy town with great mostly fish restaurants. We did however, find other foods were available. We are a family with three children and they loved the waffles/pancakes and ice cream on the promenade. They looked forward to them most evenings after dinner. We took advantage of the water sports and enjoyed the safe and uncrowded beach. The pool is handy but there is no shallow end. It really is a swimming/diving pool but with the beach so close this was not a problem. My youngest son certainly improved his confidence and swimming skills. Ana is so friendly and helpful. We found the transfer from Lisbon very smooth and easy to arrange. I cannot say enough good things about the whole area and accommodation. You really do need to go and experience it for yourself, you will not be disappointed. (Just leave some dates for us to go again!) Thank you Miriam and Ana. See you next year.

Apartamento espectacular

Hemos pasado 6 días estupendos en este apartamento. Es muy espacioso, bonito, cómodo, muy luminoso (todas las habitaciones dan a una terraza espectacular), y muy bien equipado y limpio. Las vistas son muy bonitas, con el mar en frente. Ana, que nos recibió, fue muy amable y atenta, igual que Miriam, la propietaria. Repetiremos, sin duda.

Vacation spot.

This was an excellent choice. Fabulous views of the ocean, bright, clean rooms and a balcony that was beyond belief. Very large rooms and property well maintained. The person welcoming us who takes care of the property was extremely friendly and helpful. Owner was easy to deal with in making the reservations and answered all questions we had. The pictures on the listing are very good but seeing the place in person is even way better than the pictures could describe. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing vacation spot with everything there you need.

Great place!

It was a wonderful vacation.We'v been first time in Portugal and very impressed by friendly people and mild climate. The house is large, beautiful, and has all the amenities for a perfect vacation (just as the photos). Great view of ocean. Beach is very close but water is cool. Houskeeper Ana was excellent with communication and available when I had a question. Hope to come back again - it was perfect! Thank you very much.

Une situation exceptionnelle !

Nous avons séjourné en famille à Sessimbra, Et cet appartement a fait l'unanimité des ados aux grands parents et parents bien sur ! nous avons adoré ce vaste appartement très bien aménagé et décoré, confortable et bien équipé (Wifi et cuisine, table de ping pong, piscine, garage au rez-de-chaussée avec ascenseur très appréciable à l'arrivée avec les bagages...).

L'accueil d'Ana et le service de lit à mi séjour est très appréciable. La terrasse nous a comblés, nous avons adoré ce vaste espace suspendu offrant une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie à toute heure du jour et de la nuit.

Bref nous vous recommandons vivement cet endroit à deux pas de Lisbonne dans une station balnéaire petit port de pêche calme et reposant !

Beyond swimming, sunbathing and gastronomy, Sesimbra and the surrounding area provide great deal of opportunity for active pursuits such as scuba diving, deep sea fishing and other water sports. There are two golf courses within a 20 minute drive (Quinta do Peru a Aroeira). Neighboring beaches, such as Portinho da Arrabida as well as the Natural Park Reserve make this one of Portugal's most beautiful areas.

Energy surcharge - We love our earth. And we want our guests to be comfortable in our home with the Portugal summer heat. Unfortunately, we have found that some clients are not very careful when the home is not theirs and will leave the terrace doors wide open with the A/C on hot summer days. Your rental fee includes about 300 kWh of electricity per week or about EUR50 of usage. Please note that if there is more than 10% above the 300 kWh we will return your damage deposit minus the overage at the current electricity rate (approx 0.16 per kWh).
