Charming space close to everything

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and daughter. Clean, well maintained and comfortable. Sue and Barry went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A nice quite space within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, fantastic hosts, love Portland and this home!

  • 5 of 5

We were so happy with this place! Sue and Barry stayed in touch and arranged for our late arrival and day 1, meeting us on day 2 and sharing some great vegan tips on where to eat. Clean, minimalist apartment which was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We walked everywhere! It was wonderful!

Perfect for two couples, excellent location

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a pace to stay, this is it. Sue and Barry are our new Mom answer dad. They are incredibly friendly and the amenities are ideal. Both the pull out couch and bed were comfortable and we were not crowded. The apartment is beautiful and within a two minute walk to State Theatre. There was parking available which is fantastic for a downtown location. I couldn’t recommend this place more

The perfect place for a young loving couple!

  • 5 of 5

We are a young French Canadian(so sorry for my strange English :)) loving couple and we rented this place for a foodie and cultural week-end in Portland. Everything was just perfect!! The reception from Sue and her husband was fantastic! They gave us plenty of good advice for discovering the area and even loveable gifts (!). They responded to our textos at all time to help us navigate the city before our arrival and offered to help us furthermore if need raised. The place itself is marvellous. Very cozy, clean and warm. The house where the home stay is (I dont know if I use the right term) is wonderful and so very well situated in the heart of cultural Portland. That was a charm to sleep there and to take some time to drink a glass of wine before going explore restaurants and bars. We love each minute of it of strongly recommend to go take a week-end in this place if you pass by Portland! 5 stars for the place and the people who rent this place! :-)

Private, Clean, Comfortable and Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We decided to visit Portland because of a food network show featuring the city. Sue and Barry were the perfect hosts during our stay there this past weekend! They were eager to give us tips about the area and were available anytime we had a question (text). We're fairly independent, but it was nice to know we had backup! The one bedroom unit is immaculate and has everything that you would need during your stay. The bathroom was a good size and the shower/pressure was great! When we were chilling, there's HBO and two TVs (living room/bedroom). We love to walk and this place is in a perfect location. We walked everywhere....there wasn't enough time to check out all the restaurants , but we'll be back to visit Sue and Barry!!!

What an awesome rental - add another star!!

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived, we were very warmly greeted by the owners, Sue & Barry, who spent a lot of time explaining the necessary information and also great suggestions as to where to go and where to eat! The apartment looks exactly like the photos - but even better! It was spacious and the warm and cozy feeling of the apartment was great! The parking space for our car was great which was just across the street in a very safe and well lit neighborhood! Can't say enough about the location of the apartment - just a block from the Westin Hotel and also near many shops and restaurants - well within a short walking distance! Another important factor concerning the apartment rental was how quiet the neighborhood is!! Great sleeps! Thank you so much - Sue & Barry!!! A. Dulce & A. Garr Bellevue, WA
