Best VRBO ever

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in many VRBOs in the US and Europe, and this was the most fun. Our hosts, Barry & Sue, made it a special trip. We arrived at 1 am, and the key was in the mailbox; there were chocolates and coffee waiting for the next day - and fresh flowers. The place is small, but offers everything you could want. The towels were soft, the sheets smelled wonderful, the water was hot! This was a great place to visit Portland - even though it was 30 degrees and windy. I would recommend this studio apartment to any couple wanting a great place to stay; congenial hosts; and comfort .

Wonderful Time in Portland

  • 5 of 5

Sue and Barry are warm and friendly hosts offering a cozy studio within walking distance to all good things Portland. Just a short drive away is Freeport shopping and beautiful Maine countryside and seashore. Our hosts provided ground coffee and several other treats to welcome us. We had a relaxing and memorable stay. Thank you, Sue and Barry.

Perfect Location!

  • 5 of 5

Sue & Barry couldn't have been nicer! They gave us a map of Portland with food reccomendations that were spot on. We didn't have a bad meal thanks to Sue and Barry! The location is in walking distance to everything. (The local shops, restaurants, downtown portland, and nearby parks.)

The room is super cute, comfortable, and quiet. The bathroom has a large shower with perfect water pressure. Sue made sure we had coffee for our mornings and left us tasty treats which was a nice touch.

Parking was a breeze since there was a spot right out front for our rental car. (This was great for us since parking can be harder to find on the weekend.)

Great place if you are looking to stay in Portland. Ask Sue & Barry were to eat!!!

Great place and location

  • 5 of 5

What a great place to stay.

Sue and Barry are super nice, and so excited to meet their guests and give them the rundown of Portland! Very easy to work with and it was great to meet them on arrival.

The rental is very charming and well appointed with the kitchenette and updated bathroom. If anything, it’s just a little small, BUT Portland is so much fun that you’re barely in your room anyways! They do have a nice outdoor area in the back to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink. Location is also great. Portland is a walking town. This rental isn’t in the center of town but a easy walk to the water and neighboring areas.

Be sure to get info on things to do and places to eat when you meet Sue and Barry!

Sue had fresh ground coffee, creamer, bread/jam and chocolate snack waiting for us!!!

Highly recommend this rental. If you’re looking for something bigger there is another rental, by sue, in same property.

Thanks sue and Barry for a great stay!!!

Our hosts thought of everything in this spotless apartment. Super well located with parking ( which is huge in Portland.)

Sue and Barry met us on arrival and gave us great tips on what is available in the area. Would not hesitate to return.
