Just like I remembered when I was growing up.
If you are looking to move for a week into your past, into a place that you remember from your childhood, into a more peaceful time of going for Ice cream at the general store in the evening and sitting on the front porch and eating the ice cream, of going next door at nine when the general store opens and talking to the locals that gather there to drink coffee and talk of anything but politics or religion, of going for a walk and stopping at the antique shop and not worrying about the traffic that is almost non existent, going to the lake to spend a beautiful day, then you will not want to miss this place, as it was made for you. I full well expected to see aunt Bee, Barney and Sheriff Taylor stop by to chat.
Millersburg and and the Amish area are only about 35 miles away and you can eat a great meal or visit shops and pick up those items that are unavailable anywhere else, this is the place to be. There was plenty more to see and do, but truthfully I did not want to miss a day of kite flying in the back yard and playing boccie ball to do much in the line of looking for commercialization and the present day.
