Photos and Description of this Mystic holiday house

Architect Designed, 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Baths. In Town. Mystic River Views.

Consider this…

A short 7-minute walk to Farm to Table - coastal dining; a leisurely bike ride down River Road; or a glass of wine on your stone patio watching the sailboats of the Mystic Seaport. This one of a kind home will leave you refreshed, rested, & inspired.

A well designed home with breathtaking water views of the Mystic Seaport and lighthouse. The sun sets behind you to the West and magically glows on the historic village each evening. This portion of the Mystic River is full of sailboats, kayakers and classic Seaport vessels (Sabino, Conrad, Morgan) up and down the river. Neighborhood water access for kayaks and canoes via Park Place boat ramp. Gracious out door patio, Weber gas grill. Outdoor dining with umbrella and Adirondack chairs to enjoy your sunset beverage. Fenced in back yard with large lawn for kids.

This ‘water end’ of Pearl Street has more cyclists, runners, and walkers, than cars. Less than a 3 block walk to downtown Mystic restaurants (Oyster Club, Azu, Bravo Bravo, Anthony J’s, Drawbridge Ice Cream).

Modernized historic home with all newly renovated bath’s & top of the line Chef’s kitchen (Wolf Range, Sub Zero, Bosch dishwasher), ideal for entertaining. 2.5 baths, 3 bedrooms; all newly renovated. Sleeps 8.

About Steven Young

Architect with a slight obsession for historic homes.

Steven Young purchased this house in 2010

Why Steven Young chose Connecticut Shore

We bought this home as our dream home in downtown Mystic. The water views are so relaxing with the sailboats of the Seaport all day long. Hear the drawbridge horn yet you are far enough away from the Main Street traffic. You can walk to nearly EVERYTHING from this location. We love to sit on the front steps with our coffees and watch the runners & cyclists go by.

What makes this house unique

Natural light galore. Very high ceilings. Water views from most rooms.

Great stay in a perfect house

  • 5 of 5

We were very fortunate to stay in this fantastic property to see in the New Year. It is a beautiful old house with many original features, and has been lovingly restored and updated by the owner. The house was perfect for our group of two small families; we had a very comfortable stay and our 3 year old son and 5 year old nephew enjoyed playing in the finished basement, and running around the back yard. The owner was very accommodating and answered any queries we had. The location is perfect and allowed us to explore the local area really easily. We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again!

BEST Vacation Rental EVER!

  • 5 of 5

This house is simply stunning! We arrived in the dead of winter for a Girls getaway weekend and the outside world melted away! The house is so inviting, with a beautiful welcome note when we arrived - it is the little things that make it a magical experience. The elegant kitchen and living area are absolutely beautiful. Each bedroom had superb decor, like they are interior desginers. The bathrooms are amazing!!! If I was to remodel my bathroom - I would LOVE for it to look like this, super modern and clean. Everything was just perfect and cozy for our getaway. The stairs are a little steep, and Steve told us beforehand so we didn't have any issues. The town is so cute!!! Shops, eateries, and little cafes. Not much was open in January, but I'm sure it is super busy during the summer months. You have to vacation at this is a dream home!

Perfect Place for our October Stay

  • 5 of 5

The owners were very easy to work with, and the house is very quintessential 'Mystic'. Lovely decor, historic charm, and a perfect location for us! My husband, our two goldens & I LOVED our morning walks on River Road, and/or through downtown Mystic. Although it was a 'work week' for me (was in town to meet with my CT clients), we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy this wonderful home!

Gorgeous House and Conveniently Located

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this house with my husband and two small children for a long weekend and wish we booked for longer - it was that relaxing and comfortable. Even though the inside was decorated beautifully, the back patio was by far our favorite place to spend leisurely afternoons and evenings eating lobster and drinking a glass of wine while looking at the harbor. We cannot say enough great things about this rental and can't wait to rent again!

Perfect for families and couples looking for a weekend away in a beautiful New England town.
