About Ira Weiner
My wife and I purchased this Long Beach Island oceanside duplex in 1999. In late fall of 2012, Hurricane Sandy hit and severely destroyed the first floor, garage and the lower exterior of our property. After waiting for the local authorities to open the Island, we arrived to find a total mess. But the story ended happily: by early January of 2013, we had an application in for a complete renovation including raising the property on pilings, and by the 2014 summer season, we welcomed tenants back. We've been 100% occupied throughout the summer ever since. As far as our love for LBI, it all started with a family vacation week in August 1993 — we rented a home with our moms and young sons. Our oldest son was tearful at weeks end when we checked out — he thought the home was ours! This led us to buying our first beach house in 1994. Now, our sons are off the payroll, college graduates with great jobs, and continue to visit their original beach home virtually every weekend each summer.

What makes this House unique
Completely rebuilt in 2014. The home was designed, decorated and furnished by a decorator from Philadelphia. We have chosen furnishings that reflect living rather than renting. Although the home is located at the beach, it is not decorated like a beach home found in most rental properties on Long Beach Island. It has features that are found in small boutique hotels with clean, modern appliances and contemporary furnishings.

Smoking inside is prohibited.
Pets are not allowed under any circumstances.
TVs in bedrooms & living areas and 1 DVD player.

Quiet hour policy - in order to respect the privacy & comfort of those on the 1st floor, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 11pm-7am.
Home is a self-clean unit - the standard is to leave it in the same condition it was when you first checked in, otherwise a cleaning fee applies.
Traveler/tenant agrees to sign a lease with all terms and conditions of tenancy, and return the lease to the owner within 7 days.
No refunds for cancellations made after payment is made
Great Five days in LBI!
We would highly recommend this house to future renters. It was very clean and the kitchen very well equipped for a family of four. We had a few minor issues during our stay and Ira, the owner, was extremely responsive and professional in letting us get back to vacation! The proximity to the beach and outdoor space/grill was perfect for our family. We would definitely rent again!

Our duplex serves family gatherings and larger parties with the added convenience of proximity, privacy and modern conveniences without the sandy carpeting and wet basement feel.
We love this property and have stayed here for several years in a row. It is always clean and equipped with all of the basics which means we arrive and immediately start our week away. It is a comfortable and inviting house with great outdoor space for eating, lounging or playing games. The location is perfect. It is situated in the middle of the island, which makes travel easy. Bagel shops and ice cream are a block away and the beach is so close. We look forward to going back year after year!

Short walk to the beach
Nice layout for our family of four. E-Z beach access. Clean and easy to clean accommodation. Lots of deck space. Ground level shower and 1/2 bath were especially useful after a day at the beach. Garage was tight but useful for 1 car. Off street parking for 2 cars especially useful with alternate side parking rules.

Our 2nd floor unit has all the wonderful rooftop deck space to enjoy the cool summer evenings under the stars with friends and family. The first floor unit, with the wide-open kitchen between the family and living room, provides the foodies in the house a wonderful venue for entertaining.
Exactly What We Wanted!
We were looking for a clean, comfortable place, and this exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect!
Spotless unit, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable apartment overall. Tastefully and elegantly decorated. A lovely place that truly felt like a vacation! Easy walk to the beach, chairs and beach badges included means there’s nothing to do but grab your towel and go!
Highly recommend this place, which will absolutely be our “go to” next time we head to LBI.
Ira was wonderfully available for questions or assistance without being overbearing or awkward, and has excellent taste in welcome gifts.
