Family Friendly 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Large Living Space Perfect For Entertaining

The Angell House, located in the Willard Square area of South Portland, sits just a quarter of a mile from Willard Beach, a sandy beach cove buffeted by the trademark rocky crags and cliffs of the North Atlantic coastline, and three miles from Portland and the historic Old Port District. Willard Square, a quaint residential neighborhood of hip-roofed houses and eclectic bungalows, boasts beautifully restored homes predominately built in the early twentieth century, along with much older historic landmark homes, and cozy beach cottages dotted along rambling streets that run to the beach. Affectionately termed SoPo, this area of South Portland has become one of the most desirable neighborhoods to live, visit, and play in the greater Portland area. Great restaurants and fun boutiques are sprouting up everywhere as this neighborhood revival continues.

The Angell House is an American four square built in the late 19th century featuring a large open floor plan on the first floor. The house was completely renovated in 2013-14 and the interior design takes the best advantage of natural light and spaciousness. The home sits on a beautifully landscaped plot of land with a large back yard. The back deck and grassy lawn make it ideal for families as well as for anyone who appreciates outdoor backyard privacy.

Incredible to say the least!!

Go ahead look at this house. Open every single picture and examine them all with great detail...........then rent it!!

Once you get to this house you will find it is actually better than the pictures. We were absolutely amazed at how wonderful this house was. The surrounding area (houses immediately surrounding this one) didn't seem as nice, but were far from neglected. I kept telling my wife, Honey, I want to buy this specific house!!

The house itself has every amenity you could hope for. They are totally prepared for you to cook just about anything for any amount of people here too. I was quite surprised they even had some kid items like utensils, dishes, and cups as well.

The rooms were spacious and had an alarmingly beautiful amount of natural light that would shine in from any room in the house. The beds were very comfortable and I really appreciated each room had its own either box fan, ceiling fan or both.

The house was situated perfectly away from the immediate city but still only a few quick minutes to get basically anywhere. This is the type of house I would really enjoy renting for a week or more and having a family reunion at.

BTW on a separate note to the owners/manager of this property.........I saw what this house looked like before you renovated it. I can tell you took great pride in creating this masterpiece from what was existing. It shows and let me just say you did a beautiful job!!

Great Property!

We stayed at this house for the second year in a row. It was every bit as good this year as it was last year. Everything we could ask for in a summer rental. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of space. Great location. We'll be staying here again next summer (maybe for 2 weeks instead of 1 next year).

Perfect location, house, weather!

Fresh off our stay at this beautifully remodeled home for our nephew's graduation. Others have said the owners thought of everything, and they have. Every area of this house has been well planned during their remodel with no stone was left unturned. The house is immaculate and simple with everything you could possibly want on vacation. We were a quick walk to my sister's house, the beach, the bakery, restaurants, ice cream shop, gas station, etc. A bike ride away from Bug Light Park and the Portland Head Light (we supplied our own bikes). Great communication between us and caretaker. We were all pleasantly impressed and glad to have found such a gem!

The house and amenities provided far surpassed my expectation. Beautiful stainless steel grill on the back porch and they even had a full spare propane tank if needed! This place has it all and you need to bring nothing! It is a quick 10-12 minute $7 Uber ride for 4 people! Would highly recommend.

This property is beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean! Had a wonderful family vacation visiting relatives in the area! Great neighborhood for scenic walks. Great bakeries and restaurants all within a few block radius. Highly recommend this rental!

From the first time we walked in the door it felt like we were lucky to be home.

What an enjoyable stay! This house is very nicely decorated, very clean and neat and much thought has been given to the details involved for vacationing. We enjoyed the neighborhood and felt totally safe to walk to the beach, the awesome bakery/deli and after dark, to the nearby restaurant.
