Very well maintained air conditioned home near Buckhorn Bridge and Buckhorn State Park on private wooded lot. Secluded quiet location. Room for a smaller hard side camper with 50 amp electric service. Our home has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds). Sunroom has full size futon. Wood burning stove. Wi Fi.
Our kitchen has full sized appliances and is stocked for guests who enjoy cooking.
Living room with sofa, Sony Bravia 32' LCD TV, DVD/VHS player with two easy chairs, and wood burning stove. Firewood is provided all season long and we have a good selection of movies.
Our sunroom with it's vaulted ceiling has lots of windows to enjoy wooded view, sounds of nature and the evening breezes. Several books, game table with plenty of games to choose from, ceiling fan and radio with iPod dock.
1 bath with shower.
Large private wooded lot with fire pit (firewood provided) Feels like being on 5 acres as the cabin sits back on our lot and between neighboring woods. Horse shoe pit, grill (propane provided). Turnaround drive makes it easy for boat trailers, cars and trucks to maneuver.
Cabin is surrounded by woods and feels very secluded but yet it's close enough to run out for things you might have forgotten to bring along and to the very popular Buckhorn Cafe.
Great place to reconnect with your family, friends in a setting that feels like home. Even family pets will feel like they have had a vacation!
Several access points to beautiful Castle Rock Lake, many boat landings and swimming beaches. Local rural convenient store selling many grocery items, serves freshly made pizzas, packages liquor, fishing licenses and gas. Buckhorn Café is a great little restaurant that has good food and service. You can also bring your dog for outdoor dining. Since this could change at any time, please call in advance about bringing you dog.
Our cabin is off of County Rd G near both the Buckhorn State Park and Buckhorn Bridge which is on on Castle Rock Lake. All of this is within a five minute rural drive from the cabin.
Wisconsin Dells and a large shopping outlet are just about 30 minutes south on I-90.

My husband Steve and I currently live 45 minutes west of Chicago and have been visiting the Castle Rock Lake area for about three decades. We continue to boat, fish, swim, hike and kayak near Castle Rock lake regularly.

We fell in love with the area surrounding Castle Rock Lake as campers some 30 years ago and plan to call it home very soon. The area and it's friendly people have drawn us closer over the years and it feels like home to us. Just a weekend at our cabin can make one feel as if they have been away long enough to relax and return to their busy lives refreshed. We thought if we loved the area so much that others would too and so we decided to purchase this cabin. The UnDells Cabin has proven to be very popular with our guests as they reconnect with family and friends. It is a great location for those wanting to relax and enjoy nature or even for the more adventurous that want to visit the Wisconsin Dells which is only 30 minutes away. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we have.
Whether it's fishing, birding, boating, hiking, ATV, dining, shopping, golfing, antiquing, horseback riding or taking day trips into the Dells, Baraboo, Necedah Wildlife Refuge or head north to Black River falls to ride the ATV trail, there is so much to do to satisfy different types of interests.

Overall, I had a great time! It rained a lot but the cabin is a very enjoyable space for such days! With the river and 2 lakes near by, it was perfect. At night, having a fire in the back was like having your own world! Even though there are nearby neighbors and a road, it was very peaceful and quiet! I was there with 1 person, so it seemed a bit overpriced, but worth it. It would be great for a group of friends or family.
The cabin was clean, and well maintained. The owner was pleasant to work with. Everything was as described. The property was private but near to good hiking spots and food. The cabin itself had everything we needed plus a ton of videos, lots of cooking supplies and nice appliances. The whole property, inside and out, was nice looking. Overall, a great place to stay. Property is well maintained inside and out. Saw a Timber Wolf just beyond fire pit chasing a rabbit as I was getting situated in the cabin!! How AWESOME is that?! Grilled out, had fires in the large pit, biked Buckhorn and ate pizza at Kozy's! A relaxing and peaceful time was had by me and my sister! Highly recommend this cabin. I would have given 5 stars, but neighbor has clear-cut the forest which bumps up against property line. Not sure what the intention is, but I hope well.
The cabin exceeded our expectations and allowed for a Northwoods feel without being in an extremely remote area. It is clean, modern, and beautifully appointed!
This was our second year going to this house it's very nice and located close to most anything you need. We will go back again 👍🏻
This cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners communicated great and accommodated a change we had, they were great. We had a very relaxing stay, thank you. There was a couple boat launches very close and I went Kayak fishing every morning from a small launch about a mile north of the cabin. This is not a complaint but worth a note, the wifi signal was great but the speed was minimum since it was through Hughes satellite. The only reason I mention this is if a family of 3 or more are trying to facebook, instagram and all the other things we do now this will drive you crazy.....but you are supposed to be going to a cabin to relax and unplug so for me it was actually a plus. Our 16 year old daughter actually had to interact with us, LOL.

We are a few doors from County Rd G and Marina Lane in Necedah, WI. The lake is a few blocks from the cabin to the east. There is pier fishing access. Access to closest boat launch is 2 minutes to Osprey Landing for smaller boats and shore fishing or in 5 minutes there are several larger launches and swimming beaches south of the cabin near and in the State Park. Rent Kayaks/canoes too. Fish from the Buckhorn Bridge and off Water Street or there are many other access points to the lake in which to shore fish.
Take your dogs for a swim within 5 minutes off of Water Street which is South and West of the cabin. There are several public bays with more private type swimming areas for families to enjoy a picnic for the day. No picnic tables or other amenities just beach, water and woods.
We are in a rural location. No traffic lights or traffic to mention nearby but there is just what you need as far as necessities at the Buckhorn Store within 5 minutes drive. They have gas, beverages, great pizza and munchies. Have a beer there while you wait. Also get your hunting or fishing licenses there too. 2 good restaurants close by serve anything from breakfast to lunch, to fish fries or surf and turf. Sandy beaches, boat launches and the Buckhorn State Park all within 5 minutes.
Buckhorn Café specializes in polish food. They have great fish fries. You can eat inside or out. Great pig roasts there on Sundays. Many TV's to watch favorite sports. There is a nice stone fireplace in the bar, booths and tables. Bring your dog with you too if you eat outside!
We have 2 boat dealerships within 15 minutes.
Last but not least the Wisconsin Dells is 30 minutes easy drive to the south on I-90.

Reservations booked directly through us do not incur the recently added 9% HomeAway Service Fee. Call us directly for information. Rates subject to change until reservation is confirmed and the deposit is paid. Weeks run Sunday thru Saturday but we will accommodate guests when scheduling allows. A refundable $200 damage deposit is required. This is refunded by HomeAway 7 days after guest checkout and no damage has been done to the property rented. Pet fees are non-refundable. Three night minimum stay required on most holiday weekends standard season.
