Photos and Description of this Montgomery Estates holiday house

house, 2640 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms, Sleeps 10, 3 bathrooms

Get away. And bring everyone together. At Prima Del Norte, you can do both. It’s just minutes away from the best mother nature has to offer, and the casinos, too. This big mountain home is modern with a rustic twist, blending commercial-grade amenities with a prominent wood finish, and a wide open floor plan to keep everyone near. Can’t find someone? Holler out off the back deck, because they’re probably exploring the half-acre backyard. Everyone will have plenty of space to grill up or chill out, and you’re only a block away from National Forest. When you’re feeling adventurous, the lake and the mountains are both minutes away by car, offering plenty to keep you occupied. And if the kids beat you on the slopes, settle the score back home in the game room downstairs. It’s complete with a full billiards table, but they might just know it as pool. So lay back, put your feet up, and relax. You deserve it.

A beautiful vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We had a family Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. Our family had 8 adults, with a mix of ages between 21 and 71 years of age. The younger adults got a lot of use of the game room/pool table/pingpong table. We enjoyed everything about the home and property. Thank you very much and we hope to visit again next year.

Peacful and relaxing, master tub is amazing!

Fantastic space for family gathering we had an amazing time. Love the decor! There is a lot of stairs and unfortunatly only one bathroom on lower level. Maybe gaining access through the left gate to the back yard would be an easier route for people with difficulty climbing stairs.

Simply AWESOME

  • 5 of 5

The house was beyond our expectations. You only need to bring food because anything you needed was provided. We had 9 people and had a grand time. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for providing a beautiful house. The house was extremely clean with fresh flowers on the island in the kitchen. Our grandchildren had fun playing with their monster trucks in the 1/2-3/4 acre backyard. ❤️❤️

Good location with plenty of room.

  • 4 of 5

We filled the house up with 10 guests ranging from ages 20-80yrs old. The house was very clean and spacious. The younger guests enjoyed the pool table and even more so the ping pong table that goes over it. Plenty of plates and glasses. Was pleased to see wine glasses, that's usually a hit or miss with rentals. The TV was easy to use and utilized a very nice BBQ grill. Great selection of pots and pans.

The only cons, we agree with previous reviews that in the summer season, ceiling fans would help keep the house cool. The main living spaces were quite warm even depsite finding the floor fans and using them. Couldn't open the sliding door in the game room to help with cross breeze because the sliding screen was missing. Let in a yellow jacket we had to deal with. The carpet was thick and comfortable on bare feet but could use a shampoo.

We would rent again. You never know exactly what you'll need or what may be available. Tips for the future: we brought our own dish towels based on another review ( there was only one provided), we brought our own salt/pepper and sugar, tinfoil and plastic wrap (there was tupperware that was helpful), the one roll of paper towels just lasted us the two days we stayed.

We had a great time getting the family together. This house was very accommodating for our large group!

Beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

We were very pleased with the home and the location. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and has a gorgeous kitchen! They included all the things needed to make our stay comfortable. It's in a super quiet neighborhood, with a partial view of the lake. We will definitely come back next year!

mixed review...

Pros: If your looking for a large house this is perfect. very spacious and nicely updated. large kitchen for cooking and open to the living room. nice grill. peekaboo view of lake from master bedroom. short drive to town. comfortable beds. cons: some basic amenities were missing, dishtowels in kitchen, metal spatula for bbq, etc.. small things that matter. major con: no blinds on downstairs windows. this house gets VERY hot when the sun is shining in and becomes almost unbearable by late afternoon. There are no ceiling fans which makes NO sense at all. we found a couple of box fans in a closet that we hauled around to rooms we needed them in but they are so loud you can't hear when they are on. tip for upstairs master if your here in summer, close ALL the blinds/windows in the morning and turn on fan!! that is the only way you will be able to use this room. for these reasons we will not stay here in future. 3 stars for no ceiling fans or blinds. sorry, not spending that much money to be that uncomfortable.

Owner's Response: We're so sorry that you had a bit of trouble during your stay. We will look into seeing if adding fans would be an option in this home. However, we're very glad that otherwise you had a great stay.
