Born in NYC, raised in Brooklyn and still I am exploring new places here. I can tell you that the most exciting place you want to be is in NYC, however it will tire you out. So like most New Yorkers who work in the city all day, I wanted to find myself a place away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to hop on a train to work or meet up with some friends for a night out. Brooklyn has become very popular and like myself you'll find it's a wonderful place to enjoy.
Jacqueline purchased this apartment in 1998
I choose this property because of the neighborhood and how close it is to New York City. Brooklyn gives you a different feel and experience than what you would expect in NYC. I guess, I would describe Brooklyn as a melting pot with many cultural influences. For example, you can find a restaurant for any type of cuisine! I would say it's just as exciting as NYC, yet not as touristy. It's a place you can escape to as well and live like the residents here. Depending on your vibe, there is so much to do here. Brooklyn is definitely a place to visit while visiting New York.
Comfortable and relaxed are the best way to describe how we felt staying at the property. Jacqueline was very sweet and had a little surprise for us upon arrival. She was very helpful in telling us about dome of the local restraints that we could try while there, most of which were within one or two blocks of the apartment. We never had any problem with noise which was good after a long day of sightseeing it was nice to come home to a quite and relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I were already talking about another trip back real soon. We highly recommend this apartment and it goes without saying that on our next trip we will be looking for this one again.
Apartment is in a safe area. Subway 2. Blocks away. Landlord is very helpful. Recommend you search the area around it for restaurants and grocery stores before your arrival especially if you have specific dietary needs as you are limited on restaurants near this apartment
We very much enjoyed our sixnights stay at Jacqueline's place. The apartment is big and neat. There is a very nice garden. Public transport is nearby and brings you to Manhattan in a fast way.

Overall, we loved this Garden Studio! As pictured, very clean and comfortable. Jacqueline was great! Very friendly and accommodating. Super close to the subway to the city... great location in Brooklyn (used Uber to get around; $9-$15). We stayed for 3 nights, and will definitely try to book next time we are in town. Would highly recommend! Quiet and safe neighborhood! It was too hot the weekend we were there to use the outdoor garden - but it was a really nice option to have! Next time! Small space, but doesn't feel SMALL. Great use of the space was made with furniture etc.
Previous reviews tell the story well. Jacqueline and Ana are pleasures to work with, care about your stay, and pay attention to the details. We loved the private garden and had two romantic dinners in it. The garden also served as the location to have our morning coffee to plan our days in the city.
We felt safe in the home, on the street, shopping on nearby 5th Avenue (delis, restaurants, and small markets), as well as walking to and using the subway - which you can use to go anywhere easily. All trips to the city were less than an hour ride. We used the subway to go to: Coney Island, the Brooklyn Bridge promenade path, the ferry to Ellis and Freedom Islands, Ground Zero, Flat Iron Building, Times Square, Empire-State Building, and Central Park.
Located on a tree-lined block in Sunset Park Brooklyn. One block from express subway stop 36 street on N, R and D line, which is a 5 minute train ride to Park Slope. 10 minutes to Barclay Center and downtown Brooklyn and 15 minutes to New York City.
