I have always enjoyed turn of the century architecture and seeing wonderful structures renovated and brought back to their original grandeur.

What makes this house unique

You will be within walking distance of wonderful shops, fine restaurants, downtown St. Paul, fitness center, coffee shops, bookstores. Strolling down beautiful Summit Avenue (blocks of lovely Victorian homes) is a lovely way to end the day.

Fantastic Location

Perfect Location just off Selby, a couple blocks from the Cathedral. Within walking distance of multiple eating places as well as a great coffee shop. The rental was just as advertised.

Cozy home in walking distance to everything!

This will be my 2nd time staying in this charming Victorian and I plan on coming again. It has everything you need in a beautifully decorated home which shows the owners commitment and love to design and her guests comfort. She has stocked the kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain if you have friends over. There are 2 bedrooms, but remember the house is Victorian and they didn't believe in large bathrooms nor closets, but it is so charming you barely notice nor care. There also is no bathtub, but you don't need it the shower is perfect. There is also no dishwasher, but you will want to eat out at the restaurants close by. W.A. Frost is around the corner as well as The Red Cow if you want a fantastic burger. When the weather is warmer, she has a delightful deck out back decorated quite lovely and I've enjoyed several evenings outside after class when I'm here in the spring. Of course starting out my week here this November we had warm 60's weather, but by Friday snow came in and the transition to the weather was harsh to this southern lady, but the house was toasty warm inside. You also have a driveway which you can park your car off the street, but know it is very narrow and larger than a mid-sized car will not allow you any room to get out if you pull all the way up in the driveway, but if you stay down by the front door, you'll have plenty of room. The owner is gracious and kind and there for you at any time and I appreciate that so much because I travel alone when I come up to Minnesota. If you want a delightful home away from home with comfort and charm, book this wonderful and classy rental and you, like me, will want to stay here every trip you make to St. Paul.

Restful business trip in a beautiful home...

This is a beautiful home in a convenient area to the River Center. We walked each day there and back-perfect. Lois obviously is a talented decorator, and the owner of a green thumb! The yard must be incredible in it's season!!! Thank you. We will be back.

Well Located Property in Cathedral Hill District

I stayed three nights in this downstairs duplex which is located in Cathedral Hills. This is in a terrific location, in a charming neighborhood near numerous restaurants, a natural foods coop, and about a mile from the Mississippi River and closer than that to downtown St. Paul. The unit was nicely maintained and quiet with an inconsequential amount of walking around noise by the upstairs tenants. The owner was very responsive.
