The historical Racquet Club was the favorite “get away/ hangout” of the stars and celebrities to escape to the desert. Today the elegance and beauty of the living area and grounds are exquisitely restored and maintained by the Club Condos which consist of 51 privately owned luxuriously units. This complex was connected to the original Racquet Club where the guest stayed and played. If the walls could only talk.

Everything from ceiling to floor in this 1,362 sq. ft. two bedroom, two bath unit is new and has been completely renovated with its Fleetwood windows and doors- appliances including a $7,000 a Sub-Zero refrigerator- a Viking induction range, slab granite counter tops, Columbia custom cabinetry, Kohler fixtures, air conditioning, etc., etc……. The kitchen is truly a chef’s delight.

The living room, dinning room, kitchen and patios are separate but architecturally open. and pleasing with its unique furniture, furnishings, artwork and decorations. Included is a 55” wall mounted flat screen TV.

The master bedroom has its own bathroom with tub, a king size bed, wall mounted flat screen TV, a large mirrored closet with plenty of drawers for your personal belonging and clothes. The master bedroom opens on to the pool. No need to get dresses just open the sliding glass doors and jump into the pool.

The second bedroom is small but comfortable with two extra long beds with extra long quality mattresses. It also has its own private bathroom and shower.

The private patio is completely spacious with an outdoor dinning table that seats six. It has two matching chaise lounge chairs for sunning yourself next to the pool or talking afternoon naps. In addition there are three large Italian Knoll chairs for relaxing and looking up to the swaying palms. In addition there is a grill for cooking outdoors.

The new ultra tech pebble salt water pool and spa is something very special and private. In addition to the unit’s private pool there is a large community pool and spa for extended swimming and exercise which is no more than steps from the unit.

This unit is has its own private covered parking space conveniently located steps to the unit.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS OCCUPANCY TAXES: There is a 11.5% Occupany Tax that will be added to the total charges unless you stay for 28 days or more and then there will be no taxes.

About Wayne Headrick

My wife and I who have been married for 46 years live in Palm Springs. Until we retired seven years ago we owned a fine art printing studio and a 10,000 ft. art gallery in Palos Verdes, California. As you can see from the photos, the units are extensively decorated with the works of many well know artists. Before that we lived and did business in Europe and India for many years. I am an American and my wife is German who, of course speaks German and French.

We manage the units ourselves and look forward to meeting and greeting you.

For years we lived at the beach and bought a Palm Springs property to come on the weekends when it was foggy or cold at the coast. We grew to love the desert and retired here 7 years ago.

What makes this condo unique

In our opinion the Club Condos is one of the most unique and beautiful place in all of the desert. First of all there are only 51 units in this gated compound with its magnificent grounds and large picturesque swimming pool and spa. In addition, this unit has its own private salt water pebble tech pool and spa which is completely private and protected by high walls.

Feels Like a Private Home

This condo was beautifully updated with a private pool and jacuzzi. It had everything we needed and was an easy drive to downtown. The manager Ginny and owners were very responsive. The only reason for the 4 stars was the jacuzzi wasn't working which was one of the main reasons we booked this place. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Owner's Response: Unfortunately at the last minute, we had an equipment failure. It was out of our control and it certainly happened at the wrong time. Due to the weekend, the part was not available until Monday. We did our best to expedite the repairs. In the meantime, the community pool and jacuzzi were available steps away from the condo.

Small oasis, perfect for families with small children

Condo was perfect for our family, and Herta was very sweet! A small private pool was all our toddler and baby needed. They had a blast. Parking was steps away from the front door, which was such a bonus for all the stuff we had due to traveling with 2 young children. Guest parking was nearby as well. Some ants and a silverfish found their way into the kitchen, but nothing we couldn't handle. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful convenient private location with pool and outdoor amenities

Your property was perfect for our stay in Palm Springs. We were looking for something in the area and your place was exactly what we needed. The location was right where we wanted to be. I wish we could have stayed longer to take more advantage of both the private pool and the community pool. The kitchen is lovely with granite countertops and Viking appliances. We didn't cook while we were there but everything needed was there. The master bed was very comfortable and the unit was nicely decorated. We would stay there again.

Just what we were hoping for.

This was our first trip to Palm Springs and we loved it and we loved this condo. It has a great kitchen, with everything we needed. We loved cooking our meals and then eating outside on the patio. In the evening we relaxed and watched movies, the living room is very comfortable and inviting. We spent many hours relaxing by the pool, either the private one or the community one, both were great. The rooms have a ceiling fan and that really helped keep the temperature just right. The owner met us when we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know. We talked about it and agree we would love to stay in this condo again....in a heartbeat!!

Fun and relaxing getaway with the kids

Super quiet, very private, clean and well appointed. We had everything that we needed for a fun few days during spring break with two young kids. The private pool was great and the community pool was all but empty our entire stay. The owners were very responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
