It's the perfect location for those willing to visit the city and it's surrounding.

5 minutes walk from the Central train Station and the shuttle's bus stop to and from all city's airport (Malpensa, Linate an Bergamo Orio al Serio), so if you are coming or leaving by flight or train you won't need to bother with taxis or public transport. Your home in Milan you will be just a short walk away.

Moreover Line number 1, 2 and 3 of the subway have station within walking distance from the apartment (maximum 700 meters) so any destination you are looking for is easily reachable from the apartment.

DESCRIPTION

The apartment consists of a large bedroom with queen size bed and a walk-in closet, a bright and spacious living room with a sliding door in the middle, one bathroom with shower and washing machine and a balcony.On one side of the living room is a reclinable sofa bed with tv set and table while on the opposite side there is a big and functional kitchen with dishwasher and a dining table.The sliding door in the middle is meant to create a second bedroom with the reclinable sofa bed and separate it from the dining area.

The apartment is AC equipped and it has a 24/7 high speed internet wi fi connection included in the rate.

You can enjoy great views of the mountains and beautiful sunsets as well as as the new skyline of Milan with the recently built area of Piazza Gae Aulenti-Corso Como.

At your arrival you will find clean and ironed linens in your bed and towels in the bathroom as well as some basic items in the kitchen for your breakfast and a bottle of water.If you want to find a bottle of white wine in the fridge or a particular item just ask and we will provide it for you.

Why Tomaso Bragantini chose Milano

When searching for an apartment in Milan , I was attracted by the area, with its neighbouring districts of "Lambrate-Via Ventura", where a recent industrial past has merged with the fresh energy of creative and design studios and art galleries, and the "Isola-Garibaldi" area, with its nightlife and famous boutiques as well as the developing area of Piazza Gae Aulenti.

Located at the center of the beating heart of the town, and very well connected to the public transport system, it was the perfect choice and it's been getting better ever since. There is an ongoing restoration of the dismissed warehouses, once belonging to the railways, nearby, with shops and activities opening and adding value and life to the neighbourhood.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment has a lot of light and is bright, facing on both sides, and being on the top floor. Also the view from the living room and balcony is somewhat special, overlooking the iron structure of the railway station and, in the distance the sight spaces through the Alp mountain range, from the spectacular color of Monte Rosa (rosa means pink, because the mount turns that color when the sky is clear, at dawn), to the mountains surrounding the lake Como area, giving the apartment an airy feel not very common in Milan. The sleeping room instead, faces towards the courtyard and is very quiet at night.

The neighborhood is lively with plenty of Bars and restaurant. There's a Cafe down the corner for your morning cappuccino with brioche as well as the finest extra thin-extra large pizza in town and restaurants for all the flavors all within one block.You can choose between a famous fish restaurant (the fish market used to be in this area and Milan is the main fish market in Italy), or a Sicilian trattoria, or a restaurant-pizzeria all of them just around the corner and many more, just a short walk away. Groceries and Minimarkets are also close by as well as a Pharmacy and ATM.

The nearby districts of 'Isola' and 'Lambrate' are popular for pubs and restaurant too as well as the renowned Blue note club for live music and dining.

All means of public transport are very easily accessible on foot from the apartment and if you like you can enjoy the city's bike rental network (the town is flat so no need to be a fanatic).

Also the Holocaust memorial is just 150m away from the apartment. It is one of the very few places like this that you can visit in europe also known as Binario 21 (Platform 21). That was the platform where the trains left for the killing concentration camps in Germany. Everything is just as it was and the actual train is there too.

Clean, bright and lovely apartment, excellent location for the Centrale Station

We stayed for 3 nights while travelling around Italy, to see Milan and visit Lake Como. The apartment is clean, modern and its location was perfect for us as it is very close to Centrale Station. We have stayed in a few apartments and this one felt like a proper home. I loved it. It was beautiful and comfortable. There was Wifi provided and TV. Tomaso provides a folder with lots of information on it so you can search for things to do or places to visit. The apartment has a balcony which looks out onto the back of the train station, so please be aware you will hear the trains when you are in the living room and kitchen, but this did not bother us. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment so you do not hear the trains. Also this apartment has the best mattress I have ever slept on! I had the best sleep for those 3 nights. I can only highly recommend this. Tomaso was very quick to respond to any enquiries and he was very friendly and informative, even popping straight back to the apartment to get us the iron and ironing board. His English is also impeccable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and there was a big supermarket only a 7 minute walk away which was ideal. Although the apartment is at the top of the building there is a lift, so there was no issue with luggage being carried. All in all this was an excellent apartment which would suit someone/couple who is wishing to be close to the train station. I would definately stay here again and I thank Tomaso for making it such a pleasant stay.

Strategically placed comfortable apartment.

The apartment was easy to find, and strategically placed for getting around Milan. The only things that could improve it are a toaster and microwave.

Don't be put off by the closeness to the station, Centrale shuts down between 10 pm and about 6 am. We didn't find the trains intrusive at any time. The bedroom is at the back of the unit and doesn't really hear the trains.

The apartment was in a good location for us. We planned on using the train so it was nice to be close by for early starts. The place was open, bright, had a kitchen with cooking equipment. We had most of our breakfasts in the apt. It was big enough for 3 of us to live there comfortably for 3 days.

Milano apartment

This apartment is very comfortable and very convenient. The owner clearly takes pride in keeping the place clean, up to date, and user friendly.mthe location was great and communication with both the owner and his assistant was terrific. Neri provided us with extra towels, an ironing board and iron, and was very accommodating. The building is very safe and the residents quite friendly. Only recommendations would be to make sure there is coffee, tea and some breakfast items available. Also, renters should know that if they use the living room as a bedroom,the

train noise is noticeable ( it is not in the master bedroom). Overall, I would recommend this apartment.

Very affordable luxury in Genoa

I've used VRBO properties in Europe six times and found this property to be the best equipped, cleanest, and easiest access to all sights of the city. Also to be out of the hustle and bustle of the center of Genoa I viewed as a plus. Giorgio was a fantastic host despite our language differences. He could not do enough for me with directions, suggestions, and also picked me up and dropped me off at the train station.

I would stay nowhere else in Genoa but this apartment. All the pictures and descriptions of the property are exact.
