I can't say enough good things about this cabin! The privacy and great condition of the property made it the perfect choice for us. Also, the location couldn't have been any better, as it was close to Smoke Hole for fishing, as well as a short drive to town for dinner. As for the owners, it doesn't get any better...thank you so much for your hospitality and for going out of the way to help us. We will definitely return again in the future.
We had a wonderful, peaceful weekend in the woods in this cabin. The house was very clean and had everything we were looking for. Thank you!
We had a WONDERFUL time. The cabin was everything we could have hoped it would be. Its off-the-beaten-path was especially pleasant for us. We did lots of reading and sleeping. We came off the heels of two VERY hectic weeks, so it was also very good to have all that peace and quiet! The cabin was well-furnished in every way. All we needed was food and clothes, and our own personal reading materials. Only one thing I could have wished for was a recliner, but the rocking chair was a nice substitute. These three ladies have made for a cabin that you don't want to leave. Our five days went extremely fast :(.
The listing was everything it said it would be, and directions made it very easy to find. True, there is no wifi and no Verizon cell phone service, but the cabin was very clean and well-maintained, and we had excellent customer service. In fact, being technilogically challenged as we are, we needed help with getting switched from the TV to DVD player. We actually had assistance from four people to show us how to do it! They were definitely attentive. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a remote setting. (It is about 15 miles one way from the nearest town.) We drove the Smoke Hole Road, visited the campgrounds along the road, and really enjoyed the scenery, stark as it was in late December. We actually saw more of the rock cliffs than if we had been there when leaves were on the trees. We ate in local (Franklin) restaurants three times in our five days: Fireside Cafe was our favorite, although we tried to eat at the Star Hotel and Restaurant two different times--but it was closed. We finally ate at Star for lunch our last day. We also ate at Fox's Den, having their pizza (when we intended to eat at Star the second time), which was very good. We enjoyed driving around Franklin to see the town, which is well kept and quaint.

Over all we were very happy with our stay. The only complaint we would have would've been the bed... Just sorta stiff for us but at the same time, it's a cabin. So we were very happy over all
The hosts were wonderful as they made it possible for me to book at the last minute, due to a change of plans. Thank you so much! I hope to come back again.
The cabin is very well kept and has all you need for a great vacation. Cabin is located near Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole Canyon, Smoke Hole Cavern and Dolly Sods, which make nice day trips. There is lots of wild life, deer, turkey and squirrel. It was a very relaxing vacation for us. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all and relax
