This exquisite one-bedroom is one of the most beautiful and special apartments in the picturesque 'Old Town / Stare Mesto' center of Prague. Completely renovated, our 95 sq-meter (1,022 sq-ft) apartment was rebuilt with exclusive designer elegance in mind, mixing high-end, modern amenities with classic features to create a bright, luxurious living space.

Overlooking a tranquil cobblestone square in the Josevof quarter of Old Town, you will find yourself walking distance from all major historic and cultural attractions. Old Town Square and Prague's famous Astronomical Clock are only 3 blocks away. Walk through the winding streets of charming Old Town to reach the Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, Municipal House and the Power Gate, all within 10 minutes walk. Prague's historical Synagogues, and elegant Parizska shopping street, are within 5 minutes. Restaurants and cafes abound, as well as bakeries, specialty food stores, and large markets if you choose to cook at home. All the comforts of home, washer-dryer, dishwasher, fully appointed gourmet kitchen, big, beautiful bathroom, fast Wi-Fi... There is no 'short-term-stay' feeling to our place, (no Ikea furniture!), and we are proud to share it with discerning guests - this is truly a magical apartment!

State of the art kitchen is fully equipped for preparation of gourmet meals, featuring high-end european appliances - Siemens convection oven, cooktop, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and built-in stainless steel microwave oven. Caesarstone countertops highlight beautiful Italian cabinetry by Scavolini.

Master bedroom overlooks a quiet courtyard and features a large open dressing area surrounded by built-in closets and drawers. Heavy curtains provide a dark bedroom for sleeping.

Luxurious master bathroom has double sinks, large jacuzzi tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, heated granite floors and heated towel bars.

All furniture was custom-built in Italy. New parquet floors. High ceilings, built-in and recessed lighting throughout on dimmers. Internal filtration system purifies and softens all water for drinking and bathing. Bosch washing machine and dryer in separate laundry room. Working elevator to apartment on fourth floor. The apartment is safe and quiet -- the church that faces the living room does not chime its bells. Softly and beautifully lit at night, this church gives our square a picturesque and peaceful ambiance.

American-owned. Our guests can reach us by email or phone in Los Angeles, with questions about the property, neighborhood, or for insight or suggestions while planning your holiday. We email our guests a list of our personal favorite sights, walks and restaurants, both on the beaten path, and off. Our local property manager is a UK native who has lived in Prague for 20 years, and additionally offers dependable airport/ train station transfers, and is your personal connection in this magical city.

In 2012, our building underwent a complete and meticulous historic renovation. The building itself is now as splendid as the interior of our apartment, freshly brought back to it's original colors and condition, with a beautifully restored foyer, new elevator and restored facade.

We have had nothing but great experiences with our rentals since 2010, and look forward to even more thrilled responses from our guests!

Maia lives in Los Angeles, where she is currently raising her young family. A Boston native, she has long loved Prague and welcomes guests to enjoy her home there. She is available to help with any questions guests may have about her apartment, the neighborhood, or Prague in general. Why Owner chose Old Town

When we saw this apartment, we fell in love! It is an exquisite gem, on what we think is the most tranquil and beautiful square in all of Prague. It is a dream destination, nestled in the heart of a charming, magical city whose historical architecture has remained intact. We never tire of wandering Prague's winding cobblestone streets, and exploring the countless museums, restaurants and cafes. Prague is a great city for music, both contemporary and classical. We walk to amazing concerts, stopping for ice cream, wine or cappucino on the way home. We are sure your stay will be as special and memorable as ours have always been.

After a 7 hour train trip with lovely scenery, we arrived in Prague and were so happy to walk into your beautiful flat...it felt warm and welcoming.

Jeff took us on a stroll of the area and then Tim and I had a great dinner nearby. We are so happy with our 'home' for the week...



What a treat to wake up in your beautiful flat...we slept incredibly well and have loved our first day here.

This is a fabulous week to be here...the Old Town Square has food stalls set up and children performing in dance recitals in native attire, the St Michael Monastery has concerts each night. We are going a "Best of Classic and Opera" program tonight. Absolutely lovely... wanted to let you know how happy we are to be here.

A lovely place in a great location

I can only repeat what has been said before. This is an outstanding apartment and not your typical rental. Beyond that, Maia, the owner, goes out of way to make you feel at home even before you get there. Her love affair with Prague is obvious and she shared all of her recommendations with us well in advance so we could map out our plans. Her choice of a manager is just as outstanding. We arranged for David to meet drive us from the airport. What a delight and a perfect host to welcome us to Prague. Location is handy to main square with a very well stocked mini-market a few doors down the street. Our favorite restaurant, U Cerveneha Kola, was 2 minutes way behind the church next door. You can't ask for more in a place to stay and our thanks to Maia and David for making it happen.

Perfectly Perfect, Luxury Apartment on Quiet Street

We have been renting apartments in many countries for years. We prefer a neighborhood experience that is within an easy walk to restaurants and sights as well as metros. We also prefer a building with architectural value. This apartment has it all. This beautiful, older building has been well maintained and recently updated through out. The building sits on the corner of smallish cobblestone roads with sidewalks. It is a five minute walk to Old Town Square by lovely cafes like Prague Bake Shop and Au Gourmand. Literally, across the street from the apt. is Chez Marcel (my fav) and within a stones throw are 2 more highly

rated restaurants, Lokal and Legustation. A small grocery store sits at the other end of the block. A local bus stops in front of the apartment on a limited schedule. Metro trams can be taken from a few blocks away. Having said all that, we walked most every where on this side of the river but took the metro up to Castle Quarter to wander down. Maia does have an associate who manages her apt who will pick you up at train or airport very inexpensively and check you into the apt. He is delightful and speaks English. Th apartment is just lovely and spacious with large entry, 1/2 bath, laundry washer and dryer. The master bedroom is beautifully appointed with large windows, comfortable king size bed, great linens and alcove with huge cabinets for luggage and hanging clothes. The master bath is huge, modern and very clean. It is spa like, with double sinks, stand alone shower and huge soaker tub and towel warmers. Great lighting!!! The bath cabinets are stocked with extra supplies. The living area is spacious and comfortable, complete with lovely windows and a large sectional sofa with square ottoman. We like to have a great place to sit and relax. This was perfect. The kitchen/dining area is straight out of a high end showroom. It is obvious that the owner spends a lot of time here for all of the furniture, accessories, cookery and tableware are nicer. There are dozens of guide books plus a very complete guide book to the apartment and all of the appliances. The owner has thought of everything and then a bit more to make your stay comfortable.We never heard any neighbors or street noise although we left a few windows cracked open. We were in Prague at the very end of September 2017. We did not need the AC or heat. Maia, the owner is a delight and true host who stays in touch during your stay. We highly recommend this apartment!!!

Perfect Accommodations in Prague

This apartment is beyond belief!!!! Everything that you would ever need for your luxury stay is provided. Maia provided only the best quality of linens, cooking and serving items, extra soft throws when you get a little chilly on the couch. The location and quality of the apartment could not have been better. Especially the luxury bathroom and kitchen! The bathroom was almost the size of our rental apartment in Amsterdam.

Maia provided us with great dining and touring suggestions and communicated with us up to and during our wonderful stay in Prague. To top off our experience , David her apartment manager, picked us up at the train station and dropped us off at the airport. David informed us of all the good and bad points of Prague and explained the apartment completely on arrival.

We have rented over 35 apartments in 18 different countries and Maia's Luxury Prague apartment is by far the best of the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful apartment in the heart of Prague! When visiting great European cities, we strive to locate properties just like Maia's apartment in Old Town Prague. It truly has everything that is important to us - a great location coupled with quality, quiet, and safety. OUTSTANDING APARTMENT, GREAT LOCATION

I ditto all of the great reviews prior to this one. I can't say enough great things about this apartment. The gourmet kitchen had everything you could possibly need. It had high end appliances. Everything was top notch in this apartment. It had a washer & dryer and the Wi Fi was fast. There were A/C units in the bedroom & living area. It was in a great location, a couple of blocks from the Old Town square. David picked us up at the airport. Maia was very responsive with any questions I had & sent me a list of things to see with directions & addresses, where to find different types of stores (i.e. supermarkets, butcher shop, cheese shop, etc.). I would definitely stay here again & would recommend it to anyone going to Prague. Thank you Maia & David.
