About Britt or Gloria Kelley

We are longtime residents of Asheville. We sold our businesses and home in Asheville back in 2001 and moved to Costa Rica where we lived until 2012, when we built a house again in Asheville. We once again live here to be near grandchildren and family.

Britt or Gloria Kelley purchased this house in 2014

Why Britt or Gloria Kelley chose Asheville Area

The Creekside cottage was built to be a vacation rental and with 'green' building techniques. We spared nothing in making it comfortable and think it is a wonderful location, 5 minuted to downtown Asheville.

What makes this house unique

Brand new and green built!

Perfect girls weekend getaway!!

  • 5 of 5

There are no negative aspects of this property! Perfect location - bright and spacious!! Upon entering we knew this was going to be a great place. The king size beds were so comfortable. The open concept of the kitchen and den was awesome. There were four of us ladies and we had a blast - hated to leave! We hope this will NOT be our last trip here!

Wonderful Asheville cottage!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was amazing. We truly felt that we were guests in someone's home. It is beautifully decorated inside and out. Spotlessly clean. They furnished all of the paper products, as well as soap for the sinks, dishwasher, and washing machine. It is conveniently located to downtown Asheville and all of the mountain attractions. Can't speak too highly for this wonderful rental. as a bonus, Asheville offers so many interesting things to do and wonderful restaurants to visit.

Perfect Fall Weekend Asheville Location

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place. Beautiful inside and out. Sitting up the hill from a pretty little stream amid gardens with shrubs and flowers and even a little bridge, it is lovely to behold. Inside: Again, beautifully presented, VERY CLEAN, well supplied, lots of room and comfortable. Big, cozy beds, lovely linens, nice tile bathrooms and decor with beautiful flowing colors throughout. This place is perfect for a weekend, a week or more. In an out of the way, but convenient to Asheville location, the little neighborhood is shady, eclectic and draws you along the whimsically named road. We can't wait for our next visit!

Beautiful and well maintained property, ideal location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. As we were staying with another couple, we appreciated having two master bedrooms with bathes in each room. The porch and outside area were nice amenities as well...very pretty landscaping. We didn't do a lot of cooking while we were there but the kitchen seemed adequately equipped. The location was nice - it was out of the way enough so that you were able to enjoy some peace and solitude but it only took a few minutes to run down to a grocery store if needed. I also found that we were only a few minutes away from some running/walking trails in Asheville and this was nice as I am an avid runner. I would definitely recommend this cottage and would stay there again.

Outstanding cottage near downtown

  • 5 of 5

The house was fully stocked, from coffee to stacks of towels. Spotlessly clean. Landscaping beautiful. Furnishings were first class. Bed outstanding. Blackout drapes nice. Eclectic decor fit the place and a visit to Asheville. Only negative is did not like the TV service and had trouble finding local news channel via ROKU, or whatever it was. Netflix was nice. Enjoyed trip up Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking to waterfall, lunch at Tupelo's, dancing at "Olive or Twist" Wednesday night to oldies.
