Why Owner/Manager chose Milano

The apartment is in a very good location near the Navigli area and you can walk to the high end shopping if you enjoy walking about 15 to 20 minutes.

What makes this apartment unique

A modern flat ultra-organized, spacious and tidy with up-to-date facilities. It has a fantastic 180 degree views from the windows and is a 15-minute walking distance from the striking Duomo cathedral.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Teresa & Tom have been great guests. They took good care of the apartment, leaving it very clean and tidy. Communication was also very easy and effective. Strongly recommended.

Alberto could not have been nicer! Helped us with dinner reservations, and ordered our departure taxi. He was always available and answered questions immediately.

Quiet, central apartment

  • 5 of 5

Great location; still in the historical centre, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Well appointed apartment with a modern design. Alberto was prompt, friendly and helpful with his advice. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Rental Apartment

  • 5 of 5

Alberto was outstanding. He wasn't in town during our visit, but ensured that someone was present to meet us and called us to give us a verbal on- the- phone walk-through of the entire apartment, including every detail. The place was clean, neat and had all the essential accessories for a comfortable stay. The location is about a 15-20 walk to the Duomo and a much shorter walk to the trams. There was a market downstairs which was extremely convenient. He even arranged a cab for us on our departure day.

Ann Arbor

Definitely a Five Star Experience!

  • 5 of 5

We found the flat to be a marvelous home base for exploring Milan. It is spacious, beautifully appointed, and spotless. The location is very convenient. We were easily able to reach all sites by foot. A full wall of windows affords a lovely view of the city. Our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. We are just concluding a vacation consisting of a five city tour throughout Europe and have stayed exclusively in vacation rentals. This was by far the best. Highly recommend!

Quiet, comfortable with a great view

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this apartment is top notch. Ease of booking, gracious hosts, and location combined to make this apartment a perfect choice. It's easy walking to the Navigli area, public transportation and restaurants. We chose it because it is so near the fabulous antique market that is held the last Sunday of each month along the canal. We were delighted with the spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. It is on a high floor with lots of windows and a view that captures the sunrise. Alberto and I coordinated final checkin details via Whatsapp and Florent was there to greet us. He patiently told us all about the neighborhood and sightseeing advice. We had secure parking in the apartment building and Florent helped us register our car by phone with the Italian authorities which is required to avoid a charge within the special Milan center district. Signs are posted throughout but we didn't understand them. This happened to us in Arezzo and we received a $75 bill from Italy weeks after returning home.

We rent frequently throughout Europe and overall this was one of our best overall experiences.

A First-Rate Apartment

  • 5 of 5

Having just returned from a week's stay in this apartment, I'm happy to give it the highest recommendation. Here are the things my wife and I enjoyed most about the place: (1) Alberto and Florent could not have been better at communicating with us in the weeks before our trip, accommodating our arrival time, and giving us all the information we needed. They are attentive and thoughtful hosts. (2) The apartment was clean and comfortable; it gets lots of light and the building is quiet. (3) The view truly is remarkable. From the living room, you can see the roof of the Duomo, the dome of S. Lorenzo, and the clock tower of S. Eustorgio. If your timing is fortunate, you can watch the moon rise over the city. (4) The location of the building is great. The Metro at S. Ambrogio is about 10 minutes away by foot and so is the Naviglio Grande; the Duomo is about 20 minutes' walk. (5) On the ground floor of the building, there's a grocery store stocked with lots of good food and wine. (6) The kitchen had all the cookware, utensils, flatware, etc. we needed. The induction stove worked really well; the refrigerator and freezer were ample. (7) The washing machine worked well and enabled us to pack much lighter. Clothes dried quickly when hung in the apartment. (8) The shower in the bathroom is excellent--plenty of pressure and hot water. We truly cannot think of any downsides of this apartment; our week there was wonderful. For a person or couple looking for a peaceful and well-appointed flat in Milan, this place is perfect. Finally, if you visit Milan, we highly recommend the following lesser-known sights: Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore for its frescoes, Chiesa di Santa Mara Presso di San Satiro for its altarpiece, and S. Bernadino alle Ossa for its astounding ossuary. For a wonderful local meal, try the Osteria della Conchetta on Via Conchetta about 12 minutes' walk south of the apartment.
