We purchased Cliffside Falls, in August of 2014. After seeing how unique and picturesque this property was we knew right away that we needed to share it. So after the purchase, we immediately began some enhancements to the property and it has become our passion. We want to make it the most memorable getaway for you. We are offering the Cliffside Suite to our guests who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with the comforts of home and the opportunity to enjoy Nature’s beauty, adventure and excitement. We hope you enjoy the home, especially the waterfalls, wildlife and spectacular mountain views it has to offer. Cliffside Falls is a great place for all to unwind and relax in comfort, convenience, and Nature.

The most unique majestic views to be found.
Mountain range views on one side and waterfalls on the other side.
Our group of eight adults just got back from a relaxing and refreshing three night stay at Cliffside Falls and we all agree: this is a beautiful and special place. We knew it from the moment we pulled up to the house and saw the sweeping mountain views and heard the sounds of the falls. The owners really thought of everything and then some, including a plate of some of the best chocolate chip cookies we've ever had and a bottle of wine for us to start our weekend off on a relaxing note. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and small appliances. The fire pit and hot tub are perfectly situated to allow you to enjoy the vistas while engaging in either of those activities. All of the bedrooms were welcoming and comfortable, with an abundance of pillows. Every room of the house was clean and fresh. The trail to the falls was perfectly marked and maintained and the falls themselves we just amazing. We took a day-trip out to Lost River State Park for some additional hiking and the drive out there was gorgeous and not very far. Communication with Melissa, the owner, was good and clear. We got lucky with an unseasonably warm and sunny February weekend, but noticed that between the game room and provided entertainment systems, we would not have had a shortage of things to do if the weather would have forced us to stay indoors. Among our group, we've stayed at at least a dozen rental properties, and we all agreed that this was a superior experience overall.
The only thing we couldn't understand is how the owners ever leave this place, but we're so grateful that they share it with others when they do!
The house is gorgeous, well decorated, and equipped with all of the conveniences you could possibly need. It's stocked with bath salts for the master bath's jacuzzi tub, k-cups for the keurig, and snacks for those who forgot to bring their own. There were also fresh baked cookies on arrival and chocolates next to each bed. The wifi was much faster than expected, even given the fact that there were no less than 10 devices connected at the same time. The location is gorgeous. You're literally right on the side of a waterfall. The master bedroom looks down over a cliff into the stream that feeds the lower (and larger) falls. It's also only about a 20 minute drive from Lost River State Park, which has a large number of outdoor activities. There is no cell service, but the owners have a local number that you can call from the house phone if you need anything, and were prompt in returning messages. I would absolutely recommend it - some of the other guests even went so far as to see how much the house sold for.
House was fully stocked with everything we needed. From chocolate chip cookies to kitchen appliances to firewood. Relatively close to grocery stores and outdoor activities. Spectacular views. Probably one of the best places we've rented on here.
We were delighted from the moment we pulled into the drive, with the falls on the right and the mountains on the left. The home is tastefully decorated, starting with the mums on the stairs. Inside we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and scrumptious cookies, along with a basket of snacks. Every bedroom has lovely furnishings, plenty of blankets, towels, even towels for the hot tubs. The chocolates in each room was a sweet surprise. From your bedroom, you'll either get views of the waterfalls or the mountains, can't go wrong with either. The kitchen has everything you need and more, crockpots, fondue pots, plenty of pots and pans, utensils, a Keurig - with an assortment of coffees and teas, just to name a few. The game room was fun and the kids found an assortment of toys in the toy closet, which kept them busy for hours. The fire pit, with plenty of wood and seating, was our favorite. But then there was the hot tub, also a favorite. The hike down to the waterfalls is not to be missed, absolutely stunning. Melissa takes care of every detail so you can truly enjoy her home away from home. During our stay we had a few questions about the property which Melissa responded to quickly. We are already planning our trip back next year.
What a beautiful home! The place has been decorated very high end - not what I'm used to seeing in a rental property. There was plenty of dishware and just about every gadget you can think of. The hosts also provided lots of supplies. The views and falls were amazing. Great place!
Beautiful location, very secluded, and with all the amenities one could ask for. I have been renting cabins and weekend houses for years with my friends and this one has been our favorite so far. We can't wait to go back some day. The owners have definitely earned 5 stars. Thank you for the awesome weekend!
