Great Farm Experience

  • 5 of 5

If you’re looking for a casual and fun country place to bring children, this fits the bill. Wonderful people and lots of animals. The house is spacious with a ton of beds. I liked the community vibe - lots of locals work in or stop by the farm and store, the high school track team (I assumed) runs down the driveway and onto nearby paths, and we even saw a local father and son duo fishing in the pond. My daughter loved waking up to watch the horses eat their breakfast hay - right from our bedroom window.

One of My Favorite Places in the World

  • 5 of 5

We've been back to the farm for four summers in a row now and it's a truly magical place. The kids run around, catch frogs from the pond, collect eggs from the chickens, feed the goats, and play Harry Potter beneath the crabapple tree. Adults wander and make fabulous meals from farm's produce and meat, bought just down the lane at the farm store. Everyone involved in the farm is very kind and any small issues that come up get addressed right away. We love the farm and are so glad that it's become a summer tradition.

Spacious & Cozy

  • 5 of 5

I hosted a small yoga retreat of 10 women, there was more than enough space for everyone, space to eat, practice yoga, sleep and hangout. Our retreat was in the middle of winter and they offer sleigh rides complimentary to cottage guests and it was such a beautiful experience. The relationships and energy we created in the cottage for the weekend were beautiful and I am looking forward to hosting a retreat here in warmer weather. Thank you again!! xo

Great property. Very clean, very quiet. A nice place to relax.

  • 5 of 5

I grew up in Dalton, so it was fun to get back to town and revisit old hangouts. The property was clean and quiet. We enjoyed revisiting Wahconah Falls and Mt. Greylock. My only suggestion would be to have a larger television in the family room. The television in the master didn't work very well. Just minor issues. Overall, we had a great time. The next door neighbor, Angus, was a delight to talk to.

AMAZING....

  • 5 of 5

After looking for a place to bring 2 larger families together for Christmas, we found this amazing home, to celebrate! We live locally but our idea was to have a sort of "staycation" and this home fit the bill! We were pleased to talk to Mary who is a very down to earth, friendly person. She answered all our questions and made this whole process so easy!

The home is beautiful and quiet and was the perfect home for Christmas. Its big and has plenty of space. We had 4 adults - 5/6 children and 2 infants and it was more than enough space for us all.

I was so shocked to open closets and find everything we needed and more! Including a pack n play. Everything was spotless when we got there, and smelled wonderful! The home has tons of room for the kids to run and do whatever. Unfortunately we didnt have much snow last year so the kids didnt have much sledding time but they loved being outside and exploring! We even were given wood for the wood stove, everything was just there when we needed it! I would highly recommend this home...we are hoping to do another Christmas there we loved it so much!

Thanks Mary for everything!
