Perfect for the family.

  • 5 of 5

We walked and and my family was amazed at the place. Beautiful, clean and roomy. Is not to far from city but far enough off road to have that secluded feel.

We enjoyed our stay at Ridge Top Retreat.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin had what we needed to comfortably stay with here with our family. We enjoyed the privacy and remoteness of the location. The half hour drive to Gatlinburg and most area attractions gets a little cumbersome but after the crowds nearer town it was a welcome sense of space. The last several miles of road and the driveway are not for the faint of heart. But added to the adventure and we did make it up the lane!

Perfect family getaway. Quiet, secluded, yet a short drive to Gatlinburg.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was everything I expected. I spent weeks finding the perfect cabin when I was planning our vacation months ago. The second I found this one, i knew my search was over. It had everything i wanted. A gameroom incase of inclement weather, a firepit, a grill, a hot tub. Secluded, but not cut off from civilization. We were not disappointed. My kids (15, 10, 10, 8) and I had an amazing time. The cabin and the pictures are all accurate. The place is well kept and very clean. This was the first time I have gone through VRBO, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. When we arrived, we were met by a local blue tick hound that had wandered onto the property. My kids were hoping it was part of the experience of bring in the mountains. I think that was the only disappointing part of our vacation and stay - telling them it wasn't part of the rental. Everything we needed was at our fingertips however. It was just like being at home. I will definitely consider this property again on future visits IF it is available. We lucked out this time and found it was open for 3 of the 5 nights we stayed in the area. Thank you for maintaining such a beautiful mountain getaway and helping me create memories with my kids.

Beautiful View and secluded

  • 4 of 5

Our overall experience was wonderful. The scenery was beautiful, and house was spacious and fit our family of 8 with no problem. All the kitchen appliances and accessories that we needed were there. All we needed were the groceries. Be aware that the drive to the house is a very narrow-winding road, and I agree with the warning that you should arrive in daylight, at least the first time. My only negative comment is that the place could use a little extra attention in cleaning. There was extensive dust on the shelves, and the furniture had food in the cushions. There was a sweeper available, so it was taken care of quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from city life, and would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful Family Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

I spent an amazing 5 nights with my children and grandchildren in this cabin and it was fantastic! The remote location was perfect for a true family bonding experience. The drive in and out of the area was a bit challenging but once you got used to it, it was fine provided you are at the cabin by nighttime. There were some minor maintenance issues (blinds, back deck screens, TP holder in the half-bath) but overall this place was just amazing! We had a couple of dogs come visit at separate times, but they were super friendly and obviously had been there before and loved tummy rubs! Our special Tennessee adventure was certainly highlighted by these great accommodations!

Great place for our family getaway.

  • 5 of 5

The house is set up very well and accommodated our family nicely. The game room downstairs was nice except for the pool sticks being in poor shape which I went and purchased the tips and accessories that were missing and left the extras for future guests to use if needed. The driveway is a little tricky but was expected being in the mountains. The pictures of the yard look less steep than they really are so keep an eye on the littles. Overall we had a very nice time at the cabin.
