Stunning Views from this charming one bedroom with (queen size bed) recently refurbished unit on top floor level in a Heritage building with extensive use of down lighting and beautiful furnishings. It has all appliances and is located right on the Harbour at Lavender Bay opposite Milsons Point, with stunning views of the Opera House, the city and the Harbour Bridge. Blues Point Road and North Sydney shops and restaurants are all near by; and North Sydney station, the McMahons Point ferry wharf and bus stop are only five minutes walk.
The apartment was lovely in a beautiful place with stunning views. The residents in the other apartments were also very friendly which added to the feel of the place. The host was easy to contact and deal with
The flat had lovely views across to the harbour bridge and opera house. It was spacious and had lots of storage space. The building the apartment was in is very attractive.
Excellent location for our needs (ferry or train to city and easy walk through reserves to Waverton); trains, shops and cafes not too far away, great harbour views, of course.
Comfortable and quiet. Good bed. Clothes lines for drying washing in sunshine, so no need to use tumble dryer; cheap to use washing machine (although not in the flat itself).
But, we missed kitchen equipment and utensils because it was a long stay and we don't eat out every night. There was a big fridge, plenty of saucepans, decent knives, but no coffee pot, oven or microwave dishes or grill pan. There were insufficient coathangers and a few more clothes pegs would have been helpful!
Obtaining the key did not go according to plan, as we wanted access before 2 p.m.
