Beautiful, renovated loft condo of 1190 sq ft in an antique, classic, French-style building in the heart of Palermo Soho. We actually live here too for part of the year, so we have tried to make it as comfortable for our guests too.

Our huge loft features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, each with tubs, and a private office. With a floor-to-ceiling window in the living room, the condo is filled with light overlooking an interior courtyard. Fully furnished with two, 32'' flat screen HDTV;s, DVD's, surround sound audio system, MP3 hook ups, 3 MG WIFI, movie collection, hair dryer, curling iron, coffee maker, imported top-quality linens...all the amenities you need. Most of our furniture is custom made and all of our artwork is custom painted.

This location is close to the subway, which is the fastest and easiest way to get around. We chose to be in this area because it is also alive during the day and night. There are grocery stores and local shops on one block and upscale boutiques and trendy restaurants on the next block. It is great to have options with our budget within our location. After staying in other areas of Palermo and Recoleta, we feel so lucky to be living EXACTLY where we are. What they say in real estate is true...LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Near Botanical Garden, Zoo, Artisians fairs at Plaza Serrano and Plaza Cortizar on weekends, Convention Center, Japanese Gardens, Rose Garden, paddle boats, rollar blading, jogging, Planetarium, Starbucks, bus and subway.

Around the corner is a national grocery store and a gym. There are also health food stores, farm fresh produce and vegetable shops,home made gelato shops, and local parillas surrounding the home.

Our condo is located in the back of the building so even though you are in the middle of it all, the street noise is not an issue!

More Details:: Palermo Soho is the most hip, yet laid back area of the city. When you walk out the door, you have every established and up and coming designer shop in town.The stores are incredible in design and the buildings range from very contemporary to old world style. There are cobblestone streets everywhere. Some streets are extremely scenic with large trees and a 'European' feel.

In Palermo, you can find over 700 restaurants and cafes. There is something to do at EVERY hour of the day here. On the weekends, there are artisans fairs just 2 blocks away. The Botanical Garden and Zoo are just 3 blocks away. The huge park, 28 de Febrero, with Planetarium, rose garden, paddle boats, bike and roller blade rentals, and Japanese Garden, are within walking distance.

Around the corner is a national grocery store and a gym. There are also health food stores, farm fresh produce and vegetable shops ,home made gelato shops, and local parillas.

If you wish to travel around the city, the Subway is four blocks and costs about .30 cents are trip. Bus stops are

close by. Cabs are abundant.

Our loft is located in the back section of an original, antique, French building. It is located on the second floor and there is no elevator in the building. We provide soap and paper upon arrival. It is the tenants responsibility for the remainder of the rental period.

Rate is for 2 guests additional guest is $10.00 per day.

I wanted to try something different and with great luck, I discovered Ruben and Jaimais condo. It is simply outstanding. The unit is well appointed with all appliances and granite counter tops All flooring is tiled. And everything works. The location is fantastic. And there are great restaurants – all within walking distance. It is a beautiful condo; well appointed and in the middle of everything. I liked it so much that I thought again about staying a month during the next winter. But it is already rented Jan to April. No wonder. It is a great place to spend the winter. Ruben and his wife are wonderful folks and I got to meet them. They love their unit and they care about it as if it was their only home. I loved staying there and hope to return sometime in the future.

Highly recommend this apartment:

1. Owners were very helpful and organized in making the stay great! They have a book with great tips on seeing BA.

2. Apartment is very clean, comfortable and well appointed.

3. Palermo Soho is an ideal location of BA

4. Apartment is modern inside but the building has an 'old' European atmosphere.

5. All traveler services were nearby: laundry, supermarket, subway, bakeries, restaurants, etc. Taxis were always available at the front door.

6. Property manager was helpful, friendly and on-time to pick up keys.

7. No hassle check out.

8. We liked the apartment so much we wanted to extend our stay but the apartment was booked.

Beautiful, open space in a great location!

First of all, the location is wonderful in Palermo SOHO. Near to many restaurants and bars and popular plazas. Also metro 10 min walk. The apartment itself is beautiful, lots of light. Kitchen was fully equipped. Communication was easy as well as check in/check out. Thanks for a great stay :)

Fabulous apartment in very convenient neighborhood!

This well appointed apartment was well equipped, comfortable, clean and quiet. We were here during the hottest part of the summer and the 3 air conditioners worked well to keep the apartment cool when we were here. The location in Palermo Soho was convenient for all our explorations of the city. There is a supermarket around the corner, coffee and helado shops, vegetable markets, atms and the Subte all within a short walking distance. The owners were easy to deal with and the husband and wife team of nearby property managers were very welcoming and responsive to any questions. It was perfect for our 2 week stay in BA!

Attractive, comfortable apartment with excellent Palermo location

My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay in Buenos Aires and in this comfortable, spacious and well appointed space. True to the descriptions of the apartment, it is located just a short walk to transportation, many excellent Palermo restaurants and gelato stores as well as great shopping for clothing and accessories from both established brands and up-and-coming designers. We were very happy with the apartment itself but the top rating comes with a caveat as the building it is housed in is in need of an update. It was a pleasure dealing with the apartment owners and we can't say enough good things about Demian, the BA-based manager. He was attentive, responsive, friendly and extremely helpful. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do in BA, and so made our entire trip better.

Excellent location and apartment

Having rented numerous apartments in Buenos Aires since 2002, we have to say that this ranks as the best. In terms of a location, the Palermo Viejo neighborhood is excellent. It is safe, and convenient, especially with regards to the subte and bus lines. It is also close to numerous, great restaurants and shopping off of Plaza Armenia. Also, the apartment is situated in the interior of the block (segundo cuerpo), and therefore is quiet and private. It is on the third floor (segundo piso en BsAs), and there is no elevator, so bringing up luggage can be a challenge. We actually liked the exercise and not having to depend upon and cram into the small elevators that exist in these old buildings, but this could be considered a big negative by some. The apartment itself is well furnished, tastefully decorated, and spacious, making good use of two floors of space. The kitchen, specifically, was well stocked. As a tall person (6'4"), I would like to say that there is a beam in the master bedroom closet leading to the master bath that is particularly low and a bit dangerous. Thankfully, I was mostly aware of it, and only banged my head a couple times. For someone under 6 feet it probably won't present a problem, but it is something to note. Finally, both Poppy, who welcomed us, and Demian, who saw us off, were both friendly and helpful. We look forward to being able to rent this apartment again!
