Preface: We have a total of four units, so don't fret if this suite's availability does not match yours; let us know! We are looking for guests that will help us lovingly maintain our home. No smoking. Service Animals are allowed. We invite you to inquire about availability and more details. This is also a new construction and a new listing; that being said, there are few reviews for you to follow up on! We can provide references upon request if you so desire. Our suite does not generally come with standard maid service, concierges, or the bellmen of typical hotels. Amenities include a first floor restaurant and cocktail lounge, open-air beer garden, optional maid services, room service, optional private chef bookings, luxury bathrooms, modern kitchens, and fabulous layouts. The living room features a great television entertainment system; it's perfect for movies or live sports events! Additionally, we are next-door neighbors to Savannah's Visitor's Center - a flagship information and welcome mecca to the guests of our lovely city.
This apartment is the largest of four other suites. It offers views of Bay Street and the rare glimpse of the Savannah River along with it’s colossal barges making their way to and from their ports. Its gourmet kitchen seats four and features 4-pc. stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a washer-dryer combo. The kitchen also seats four guests for dining. The private bedroom is a retreat with a huge walk-in closet; perfect accommodations for the long or short term traveler. The bedroom suite also features another television. The bathroom features luxury rain showers, porcelain tile, and granite counter tops. The sofa sleepers are hotel quality and combine the ergonomic spring support of a sleeper sofa plus the comfort of an inflatable air bed for an amazing night’s rest.
Having been in Savannah for over a decade, our family has grown to cherish this city, her community, and her hospitality. The building itself was erected circa 1822-1833. It did not become the Oglethorpe Lodge Building until 1856. The full history will be available to you during your stay!
The location was also a huge motivator for us. It's easily accessible to all the amenities of historic downtown Savannah.
Old Savannah Grey bricks are few and far between these days! Anyone can appreciate the beautiful details - the staircase, the facade, the original pine wood floors, the trim, the updates, the views, the original chimneys, etc.
Additionally, we feature a personal chef service, maid service, state of the art entertainment systems, four private parking spots (***pending busy Savannah dates and events because of parking garage rules***), and so much more!
Owner is very nice and the place was perfect. Right in the middle of the action of downtown Savannah.
Had a wonderful time -- Gostavo was available as needed and Made us feel very welcome. Location was great and the condo was very nice and clean. Plan on coming back again!
As the photos show, the suites are BEAUTIFULLY decorated with high-quality finishes. We stayed in the third-floor premium suite, which has a waterfall shower head, walk-in closet and more than enough room for four people to stay comfortably. No complaints here!

We are from Canada and decided to stay in Savannah for four days on our drive to Florida. We booked in Wednesday afternoon and left Sunday morning.
The unit has been recently refurbished and is beautiful. It is located in the Historic District and has a great view of Bay Avenue. The furnishings are modern and comfortable and the apartment has all the amenities you can think of.
The location could not be any better. It is within walking distance of all of the historic squares and is across the street from historic River street. Parking is conveniently near by.
Gustavo is a gracious host who wanted to ensure that we had a comfortable and relaxing time. He is very proud of the City and went out of his way to provide assistance and advice on how to enjoy Savannah. He could not do enough for us and answered all our questions on what to see and do.
As indicated, the unit is newly refurbished as is the restaurant and bar on the main floor. The DJ was a little exuberant on the Friday night of our stay but it did not detract from our time in Savannah. Gustavo indicated he is looking at adding additional soundproofing.
Overall, great value and an excellent place to stay while in Savannah.
Very nice place to stay in the heart of action in Savannah. Just steps away from great dinning, exploring or festivities. Once you tire yourself of all the city has to offer, you can come back "home" to relax and recharge for your next day. This place has all the convince of home set in a stylish and well designed flat with all the creature comforts you could possibly need.
Next visit to Savannah will definitely be booked here.
First, Gustavo is an amazing owner. He thoughtfully renovated this building and it shows in every detail. He is super friendly and accommodating. He greeted us when we arrived, walked us through the condo, showed us to his parking garage, helped my husband carry all our luggage upstairs, to offered to get us anything additional we needed, suggested restaurants and sites not to miss and he texted us during our stay to make sure we were enjoying ourselves - Simply Priceless.
Now for the diamond, this lovely, serene retreat is perfectly located right across from River Street in the heart of Savannah's historic district. We walked everywhere Its on the top floor, comfortable, quiet, beautifully decorated with new everything from appliances to linens. The queen bedroom is charming with a substantial closet. Our girls, 11 & 14 slept on the sofa bed which is a new air mattress housed in a traditional mattress cover. It is really awesome and inflates in 2 minutes. The girls said it was super comfy and they loved watching the large flat screen TV. The substantial bathroom has a large shower with an 8-inch spray rain shower head. The soaps have a soft, calming botanical fragrance which reminds me of a five star Spa. We loved it.
What a treat to it was to unwind in this sanctuary after a day of enjoying Savannah. The only complaint is our stay was too short. We will stay here again on our next visit to Savannah.

Additionally, we are next door neighbors to the Visitor's Center - a valuable resource for any Savannah guest!
The Oglethorpe Lodge is a registered National Historic Landmark dating back to circa 1822-1839. The edifice has its own story conducive to the historic port of Savannah and, as it now stands, offers the most updated historical building, living spaces, and restaurant space on Bay Street.
