This property’s prime location just one block from Palermo's outlet stores is just the tip of the iceberg. Entertain guests or spend time relaxing in the living room, complete with custom-made sofa and 46-inch television with cable. Should you choose to eat in, there are two dining areas for extra options as well as an outdoor patio for basking in the afternoon sun or resting worn muscles in the Jacuzzi. The two bedrooms have a sleek yet comfortable feel. The master bedroom has an LCD television and in-room safe. Absolutely not what the pictures show... very disappointing and dirty

  • 1 of 5

We arrived at the property at 4:00pm, right when we were told to. We met the owner who gave us the keys, we entered the property and we were met with bags of trash, a young child watching TV, food being eaten in the kitchen and a very dirty house. The owner explained to us that the maid was not finished cleaning (it was her children who were watching television). He told us to return at 6:00 and she would be done. After traveling for over 30 hours, we were tired and just wanted to relax. We returned at 6:15 and she was still there. At this point we were upset. She then told us that she had not yet done any of the laundry, needless to say, the house keeper did not leave with her child until 8:45 pm. We were still charged for the night even though we were forced to wait almost 5 hours. After entering the property, we started to look around. The add for the property informed us that we would be able to sleep 6 guests. We pulled out the sofa bed and as soon as someone laid on it, is collapsed. Two of our guests slept on the floor because the bed was so broken. In the master bedroom, we opened the closet to unpack and found ripped pillows, a broken mirror and a large trash bag with a filthy rug in it. The hot tub was empty when we arrived, we were informed that we could fill it but once we did it would not reheat. It was dirty and unkept. The sliding glass door had broken glass that was taped over, which is a very unsafe feeling. The walls were all scuffed up and we were only supplied two rolls of toilet paper for the whole week. For 6 people we were given 4 towels for the whole week. The extra linens that we needed for the people who had to sleep on the floor were URINE STAINED and disgusting. After 5 texts, two calls and 3 emails I finally got ahold of the owner. He informed me that the house was so filthy because one of the maids called in sick for work. That is really no excuse for what we saw. He offered our money back the first night if we left that night. We were unable to find another house or hotel that could fit us so we had to stay. If you have any other place, I tell with you with as much heartfelt advice as I can, do not stay here. We were so disappointed, and so mislead. The house was not as advertised.

Great location

  • 4 of 5

Tri-level unit. Rooms are cozy. Roof top was the highlight of the unit. The jacuzzi was dirty and drained and we weren't able to light the torches, but the area was amazing. We spent every evening on the rooftop. There are spiral iron stairs that lead to the rooftop through the balcony of the second bedroom. If you are afraid of heights or drunk you will not be able to access that area. Overall it was a good unit in a great area. Walks to everything. The front gates lead into a court yard which adds additional security.

Not exactly as in pictures... Mixed feelings.

  • 2 of 5

First of all I would say that the images dont really give the right picture of the apartment when it comes to the size of rooms. You enter the flat from ground floor where you have the living room/kitchen plus small toilet. The flat is quite narrow, yet longish. 1st floor main bedroom (+small balcony that cant be used because the aircondition elements blow hot air to it) and the main bathroom which really is a joke considering the flat is for 6 people max. To get in and out of the shower is a show on its own as there really is no room to move. On the 2nd floor is the second bedroom. Nice and clean. From the second floor you have staircase to the roof where you will find the jacuzzi. The emailing and correspondence with Mark and Maite was good and quick. Even though when I specifically asked whether the flat is suitable for children (ours were aged 4&7) and they replied yes, I did not realize the amount of stairs in the apartment. And especially the stairs going to roof where nothing but child friendly. Additionally the fences on the roof where a joke. We enjoyed the jacuzzi (which leaks slightly) nevertheless. Overall the apartment is slightly worn out vs the images. Lastly, we needed to check out already on Sunday instead of Monday but realized there is no way of contacting the team on weekend. Luckily it worked out that we just left the keys with a note. Location is good, yet for our needs in the end a bit far away from everywhere. Two nice restaurants nearby and a laundry. Supermarket slightly further. Outlets just around the corner.

Disappointing apartment and agent response.

  • 3 of 5

The photos of this property look amazing unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. Despite being advertised with a washing machine there isn't one there. The exterior was being painted when we arrived and the workmen left their clothing in the apartment and then kept coming in and out long past the time they were supposed to have left. There is heating in the bedrooms and dining area but not in the living room which is constantly cold. Pretty basic but the light bulb wasn't working in the 2nd bathroom which the agent pointed out but did nothing about hence that rendered that bathroom useless. The worst aspect of this apartment by far though was the complete lack of hot water for our entire stay! We contacted the agent and got no response until the day we checked out. Would have been nice to have been offered a refund - nothing was offered so definitely would recommend avoiding this property!

Best Private Rooftop in Palermo!!!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd trip to Buenos Aires and we absolutely loved this

apartment. Drinking fine Argentine wine from the rooftop in the private

jacuzzi every night of our week long stay! One block away is the best outlet

shopping in Palermo and many nice cafes and restaurants. Plaza Serrano is

only a 5 minute walk as well. We were worried the photos were too good to be

true but we were not disappointed! Would book this apartment again if we

ever return to Buenos Aires.

loved every minute in it !!!!

  • 5 of 5

Great apartment, elegant, clean and extremely well furnished. We loved

relaxing on the roof terrace and bathing in the Jacuzzi with the city at our

feet. I only wish we could have stayed longer, there was so much to see and

so many places to visit and you are right in the centre of it all. There was

no food or drinking water in the apartment, but our host Pablo took us to

the market to do some shopping and we got everything we needed.

Buenos Aires, sometimes referred to as ‘The Paris of South America’, is an astonishing metropolis. The city offers a great variety of activities all year long. Characterized by having multiple artistic and cultural expressions, Buenos Aires amaze tourists from all around the world. It has a high concentration of theatres, museums, music venues and art galleries.

Argentina’a famous dance, Tango, is in the air. You can take tango clases or watch a full-blown tango production. And what about food? BBQ is a must! Parrillas (steakhouses) sit on practically every corner.

Large shopping malls are modern and family-friendly, offering designer goods, food courts and even children's play areas. But you can find really cool and trendy street markets as well.

While other cities sleep, darkness makes Buenos Aires come alive. From Avenida Corrientes theaters to big techno clubs, to cossy pubs, Buenos Aires offers an exceptional night out.
