Fantastic stay! We'll be back!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time at the cabin and we had a wonderful stay. It's just close enough to town to be convenient, but also far enough away to feel like you're away from it all. The cabin itself is very nice and very comfortable - it feels like home. There were only two of us, but there was plenty of room for another 4-6 people. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a big meal as well. We also made a fire in the fire pit and s'mores that were so kindly left out for us when we arrived. The home owners are also wonderful and very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this cabin! We've only been in September, but I'd love to check the area out in winter as well. Greenville has everything you need, and the lake is absolutely beautiful!

great cabin with everything you need!!!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was great and very well equipped! My grandchildren and a friend of theirs stayed with me, my son, and daughter-in-law over Columbus Day weekend! I did several treasure hunts for the kids, and they enjoyed going up and downstairs looking for the clues hidden in all of the animal items decorated all over the cabin! The cabin was very cozy and spacious for all of us, and the cabin is very close to town for shopping and eating out. Highly recommend this cabin if you have 6-10 people staying with you.

Cozy and secluded

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for a long weekend with my sister and niece. It was a good homebase for one of my sons' wedding at Moosehead. The weather couldn't have been better - sunny, summery 75-80 and 60 overnight. We enjoyed unwinding the night after the festivities with a glass of wine by the firepit. With 3 women getting ready for a wedding, it would have been nice to have two bathrooms but we made it work. The layout of the house is well-designed. Although there is sleeping space for 8-10 people, I think it would be super crowded with more than four if you have winter clothes and sporting gear with you. For warm weather sports, there's plenty of room though. The owners are great. Right on top of things and have helpful instructions posted in the house.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented the cabin as a base for hiking, moose watching and canoeing in the Moosehead Lake region. What a lovely place! The kitchen was a dream with absolutely everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals. The beds were very comfortable and the whole cabin was beautifully decorated. The property was well kept and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch watching the birds flit in and out of the bird feeder at the end of our busy days. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you Lesa and Kevin!

PS Just a heads up; the only cell service that works in the region is Verizon.

Great spot in the woods

  • 4 of 5

The hosts of this great little retreat are very nice and easily reachable if in a pinch. The cabin is updated and clean, with all of the necessary amenities. We came up at the last minute for a 2 day ATV trip and couldn't have been happier with the cabin. Everything that one needs for a short or long stay is here, including comfortable beds. Well, at least the one we used. We were told we should bring towels, as they apparently have a tendency to grow legs at said beautiful camp in the woods. I do hope that the spares that we brought make it a bit so that other travelers won't have to worry about a towel of all things. Hotels charge you for that stuff, geez. As for ATV'ing ... unfortunately we were a bit land locked due to closures for logging (mid-July) and couldn't get down to Greenville just two minutes down the street from where we were. Didn't quite make it to Kokadjo because we couldn't get to Greenville for gas, hmmm Still had a great time, how can you not being out in the fresh air with no rush to be anywhere and no one demanding your attention

Wonderful Trip, Incredible Hosts

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I decided to rent a camp this summer for our anniversary instead of going to the coast... what a treat! We loved the seclusion and being able to bring our dogs. Family and friends popped in and out for visits and all had a wonderful time. The camp was adorable and very clean. We will be renting again in the winter!
