Enjoy a quiet retreat in a private wooded setting nestled in the WNC mountains, just outside of Brevard. Although you may feel remote, you'll actually be an amazing short drive to many destinations, that is sure to please anyone! This older house was built in a free-flowing floor plan (all rooms connect, no hallways), which was common in rural areas. The house has a full kitchen, dining room and large family area that has room to stretch out and relax. There are three bedrooms and a large bathroom that is built at the end of the house. The yard has a fire pit along with several chairs that you can enjoy and there is small charcoal grill to cook on. We have a large, homemade picnic table to enjoy your cook out on. Also a swing set with several single swings and a two-person seat. Here in Transylvania County we have 3 different park lands that provide miles of hiking, biking and horse trails. Fly-fishing, water tubing, rock climbing & picnicking and don't forget to view some of our 250 waterfalls. You are less than 5 miles from the Pisgah National Forest, 15 minutes to DuPont State Park and 30 minutes to Gorges State Park. If the outdoors aren't to your liking, you are just minutes away from Brevard, for dining, art/crafts, music and shops. If you get a chance, check out some of our festivals.
