The tranquil setting of this home is spectacular! Every room is very spacious and newly updated. This home 'lives' comfortably and is completely relaxing. The Master suite has a beautiful Queen sleigh bed, sofa, double chair and ottoman. Master bath has walk-in shower and closet, double sink and Kohler ceramic tub. Two lower-level bedrooms with Jack and Jill closet and full bath. One bedroom has 2 queens, other bedroom has 2 twins and a double bed (comfortably sleeps 3, especially kids). Each bedroom is equipped with HD flat screen TV's with AT&T-U-verse. Living room has new 55" Samsung smart TV, 2 new Lazy-boy leather rocker/recliners, leather couch and a wood burning fireplace! Very large kitchen with snack bar area, granite counters and ample cabinet space. New stove, microwave and brand new stainless tub dishwasher! All dishware, glassware, silverware and cookware provided! (plenty of spices provided for the chef in the house). Laundry room with sink, folding area, iron and ironing board (detergent provided). Ample seating inside and outside on the covered deck. Gas grill and utensils available. Walkway to pond and golf course. The view of hole #4 on Cortez golf course overlooking the water featured pond is fantastic. This home will comfortably sleep 8-10 guests. If needed we can provide a portable Serta queen bed. All beds have fairly new mattresses, bedding, sheets and pillows! We have taken great pride in preparing our home for your vacation stay. We absolutely are so excited to be a part of your vacation experience and will do whatever we can to have your stay be enjoyable and memorable. We love to vacation as well and use HomeAway/VRBO whenever possible. My name is Derek Jon and my lovely wife's name is Katie Mae. We were both born and raised in the mid-west (Wisconsin/Missouri). We live and work in North Little Rock, AR (only 50 miles away from our vacation rentals). We love to travel, stay active, and most of all be great, caring hosts! We are in our third year of the vacation rental business and are excited to announce the addition of second vacation rental property on Lake Cortez...just down the road from the TeeHouse (please see property #4086499 if interested. This home is located in one of the best kept secrets in the U.S. as a vacation destination! Hot Springs Village is known for it's spectacular golf courses, lakes, and peaceful environment. My parents decided to purchase a retirement home in Hot Springs Village. When I visited the area with them I immediately fell in love with the whole experience. I moved to Hot Springs Village shortly thereafter, became employed as a tennis teaching pro at the Coronado Tennis Center (a wonderful state of the art tennis facility in the village). I met my wonderful wife Katie Mae in December of 2007. While looking for property to purchase we came across this gem of a house and were so impressed with the location and relaxing view. We knew the potential this property had and with my remodeling and carpentry expertise this home has been completely updated. The location, the view, and tranquility provides a very relaxing and comfortable experience. When a property tugs at your heartstrings like this did ours...we had to have it...now we want to share this with others! You will find the TeeHouse the perfect home to experience all what the village has to offer. The home is centrally located being only minutes from the west gate. The sound of the water-featured pond in the early morning and late evening is very peaceful and makes for a most relaxing environment on the newly re-done covered deck.

What makes this house unique

This property sets back in the woods off of the 4th hole of the Cortez Golf course. The deck runs the entire length of the back of the house with the a large portion of the deck being covered. It is there you can enjoy the view of the awesome water featured pond on hole number 4. The home provides an open concept with plenty of windows. The naturally landscaped lot provides plenty of shade and keeps the home surprisingly cool. (My wife calls this house 'her tree house'). The home is very secluded and quiet. Minutes from the Cortez Golf Course clubhouse. Enjoy a peaceful walk early in the morning or late afternoon on the golf cart path as our home is just steps away from the path. The custom remodeling and floor plan is quite unique as well!

Home is only 20 minutes away from Historic Hot Springs. Home of landmark Spas, Oaklawn Horse Racing and Casino, and Lake Hamilton. Minutes west of Hot Springs Village is Lake Quachita. This lake has fantastic fishing and guided fishing trips are readily available. Landing a 20lb striper bass is definitely an unforgettable experience! You will find Hot Springs Village to be a premier vacation spot. Petit Jean State park for the hiking and sight-seeing enthusiasts is only 90 minutes north of the village. Magic Springs and Waterpark is located just west of Hot Springs about 20 minutes away from our home. Please ask about visiting the Coleman Mine where finding a keepsake crystal is very likely. Coleman Mine is famous for producing record breaking crystals.

Everything about the TeeHouse was perfect for us. Sparkling clean. Well furnished. Comfy beds and lots of extras. The property owner was very easy to work with and quite responsive. You can believe all the wonderful reviews because they are true!

Great home and even greater owner

This was the perfect getaway house. It is very comfortable and exactly what we needed. The porch was a popular hang out spot! Derek was more than accommodating and great with answering any questions we had. The home is secluded, yet not far from local beaches and the shopping areas in Hot Springs. I would definitely book this home again. Thanks for a wonderful stay! The other 10 occupants had nothing but great things to say about the hospitality!

Beautiful property with all the comforts of home

We had a lovely time with our family at your T-House. Loved the comfortable sofas, recliners, and especially the wonderful beds and linens. The Master bedroom being on one floor and the kids being downstairs was a plus as well. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. We enjoyed the lovely view from the large deck and we had plenty of areas for outdoor dining. The kids loved exploring the outside back yard. We spent time hiking on West Mountain and took the kids to the Children's Science Museum. We will definitely return for another family get together. Also, the owner, Jon Derek was very responsive to our needs.

Our home is located in the gated community of Hot Springs Village, AR. The ' Village' features 9 golf courses and 7 lakes located in the Quachita, Mountains. The wonderful city of Hot Springs is twenty minutes by car and Little Rock is a short fifty minute drive. Historic bathhouses, Oaklawn horse

racetrack and casino, Garvin Gardens, and many other noteworthy attractions await you in Hot Springs. While the Presidential Clinton Library, the historic Central High School, Little Rock River Front, and many other tourist attractions are certainly worth a day trip to the 'Rock'. However, for the nature lover, golfing, hiking, fishing, and tennis enthusiast there is enough in Hot Springs Village to keep one entertained, relaxed and fulfilled. So, please come and be our guest for a relaxing time in our home.

Disclaimer: This is for guest that have allergies "especially dog allergies. We have furry kids "dogs", our home is probably cleaner when we have guest. The downstairs is off limits to our pets and we make every effort to have our home spotless for you.
