This secluded ski chalet is located 6 miles south of Sugarloaf mountain. It features 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining area and large entryway for your ski gear. The home has a washer and dryer and is pet friendly. Cable and wireless internet are just a few of the amenities. Relax with friends in the large living room in front of the wood burning fireplace. We are located off mountain on Rt. 27 approximately 1.5 miles south of Ayotte's Country Store, just 6 miles south of Sugarloaf. Tuffulio's restaurant and bar is nearby. You don't need to be on the mountain to enjoy everything that goes on in Carrabassett Valley. The Sugarloaf Outdoor Center is 5 minutes away where you can enjoy x-country skiing, skating, hockey and snowshoeing. Don't forget to check out the new Sugarloaf Zip Line that was installed last fall. An excellent location for all winter activities. You are close to the Narrow Gauge Pathway where you can hike, bike or go for long scenic walks. In the summer time enjoy the Carrabassett pool which also features a tennis court, playground, basketball court and steps away from some favorite local swimming holes in the Carrabassett River. You are close to the ITS trail. You are minutes away from the new Maine Trails & Hut System which offers some awesome hiking and walking along the Carrabassett River. Whether your bringing a fishing pole or your skis, this location is perfect for your next vacation.

The Spurline rental was a perfect location for our family.

The house was cozy, clean and warm. Very attractive and comfortable furnishings. The woodstove was fabulous and kept us comfortable. Only problem was finding the woodpile after a 2 1/2 foot dump of snow!! The kitchen was fabulous!! It had EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want. There was so much room for sleeping. Hard to belive there were 5 bedrooms in what looked like a small cabin! The 2 bathrooms were attractive as well. Just a perfect cabin for a winter escape!! We loved it.

Very comfortable, well-situated, great for family gatherings!

This is the first time we've rented this camp and we would definitely come back. The living room area is wonderfully laid-out and directly accessible to kitchen and dining. There are lots of sleeping options which makes it great for a larger family holiday. It's also close to the mtn but not right in the midst of the resort madness which we prefer. The neighbors are all friendly and the snow removal and management very helpful and responsive. Couldn't ask for more!

Excellent experience.

  • 5 of 5

It was better than we anticipated. Plenty of room for all guests. Comfortable accommodations. Kids room worked very well. Exceptional kitchen. Warm, efficient woodstove. Systems and cabin aesthetic was high quality. Great location for biking, skiing to Maine Huts and Trails facilities. Everyone smiling at the end of this trip. We'll be back.

Great House!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was perfect for our weekend stay in carrabassett valley. It easily accommodated our large group of 8 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. The cabin was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable, and close to hiking, fishing, sugarloaf. The property manager was also great to work with, with very fast replies to all inquiries. We would definitely consider staying at this cabin again in the future.
