Why Grant chose Blakeslee

With a long family history right here in the Stoddartsville / Blakeslee area, dating back to the early 1800's, I feel very privileged for the opportunity to be a good steward of the land and share it with those who appreciate all nature has to offer. With the Lehigh River flowing by, I have not found a place more peaceful than right here in Stoddartsville. The air is clean and crisp and the sounds of the river flowing by allow you to truly recharge and getaway from the rush of daily life.

What makes this cabin unique

The views of the Lehigh River from the cabin are spectacular year-round. The privacy offered by this unique setting creates a true escape from the stresses of daily life. Originally built in 1911 and used as a prop in a silent movie in 1917, this cabin has been completely renovated and upgraded with all the modern amenities while maintaining the charm you would expect of a cabin in the mountains.

You must experience it for yourself to truly appreciate all that the Lehigh Cabin has to offer!

Warm and cozy

  • 5 of 5

This was the nicest cabin I've ever stayed at. Loved everything about it. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire place as it was a rainy kind of day. We did get out and explored some of the history. Very beautiful. So glad I found this cabin on line, it was perfect for our little honeymoon get away.

Also we are very thankful Grant was only a phone call away and helped us to find the cabin as we arrived later in the night then expected. THANK YOU so much. We hope to return when we can stay longer.

Perfect In Every Way

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was simply perfect! The owner was so helpful and easy to reach. This cabin had everything we needed, it was clean, and just the right size ! The view of the river couldn't have been better. It is close to hiking trails, a cute little town for anything else that you may need! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family and would love to stay here again!

Cozy and charming!

  • 5 of 5

This was such a lovely rental cabin, very clean and accurate according to the listing description. We planned on leaving the cabin to go snow tubing, but ended up staying in the entire time, playing board games and cooking. It was much needed family time! The skillet pan is the perfect device to cook in the cabin! We loved staying here!

The only word of advice for arrivals after dark would be some better exterior lighting. Other than that, two thumbs up!!!
