Overall, Baskins Creek was a wonderful place to stay. I have been going to the Gatlinburg for decades and this had to be the nicest place I have ever visited. The condo was well taken care of, nicely priced, and very spacious. The best part was that it was very convenient walking distance from the parkway shopping area. It took maybe 5 minutes to walk to the Pancake Pantry.
I would truly rate this a 3 1/2 stars. My family does visit places with full kitchens so we can cook the majority of our meals instead of always eating out. The kitchen was missing some items that I would consider ordinary kitchen supplies.
My major complaint was the lack of on site security, especially with enforcing the noise of other guests late at night. On our last night, we were woken up several times throughout the night with guests intentionally hollering when other guests had asked them to quiet down. We had no one to contact at the time with no employees onsite at the time.
I would definitely recommend and visit Baskins Creek again. I would just hope that late night issues would be fixed.
The condo was home away from home. The condo was clean and had everthing we needed during our stay. I cant say enough about the great location just a short walk from downtown Gatlinburg. We will book again at Baskins Creek for our mountain get away!
The condo we stayed in was very clean and well-maintained. The living room was very spacious as were the bedrooms. One bedroom had a king size bed, TV, full closet, and even had a bathtub in the bedroom! It also had a full bathroom with a shower. The other bedroom had two double beds and a TV and had its own bathroom with 2 sinks. The kitchen was well-furnished. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Baskins Creek condos were about 2 blocks from the main street in Gatlinburg. We got an extensive email prior to our visit that gave us all the information we needed, so we never had to check in or out at the main office. It was wonderful and we would certainly stay there again.
For fun, we went to Dollywood (all day), swam in the pool, walked along the main street in Gatlinburg, played putt-putt golf and went out to eat at Calhoun's restaurant. My favorite was probably the Aquarium because it was very kid-friendly and we had a 4- and 1-year old with us. Great vacation spot!
