Why Grant chose Blakeslee

No matter the season, you will not find a better setting to relax and unwind. With the Lehigh River flowing just below the back porch, it's easy to get lost in the beauty of the area. Take in all the Poconos has to offer in every season here at the Lehigh Lodge.

What makes this cabin unique

The Lodge is hidden away well enough to provide peace, quiet, and serenity during your stay, but close to local attractions like Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski resorts, Lake Harmony, golfing, numerous restaurants, and plenty of other sights to see and places to visit.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The pictures and description do not do the property justice. Place was extremely clean, well equipped and wonderfully warm and comfortable. The decorating is very tasteful and they have done wonders with a small space. The view perched above a bend in the Lehigh River is beautiful. We saw a bald eagle soar by just before we left. We plan on returning for each of the four seasons. Shopping for whatever you need is minutes away.

Piece of Heaven on Earth!

  • 5 of 5

Another enjoyable weekend for my husband and I at the "lodge" with my cousin and her husband. We have been coming for years and feel like it's our little piece of heaven every time we come back. Winter, spring, summer , fall.... each season nature provides a most beautiful backdrop to relax your mind and provide the serenity to escape our crazy day to day life! Whether listening to our favorite tunes, cooking ( new table in kitchen a plus) reading , playing games in front of a roaring fire, it's the best of times! Grant, we thank you for enabling us to rent your beautiful property!

Picturesque and cozy!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved our stay at the lodge. It's a lovely, private home close enough to attractions like skiing and tubing. It was very cozy and the fireplace made it extra special. We also loved the river views. This is truly the perfect weekend getaway.

You can actually hear big running river in the backyard when you sit on the screened in porch

  • 5 of 5

Everything is well taken care of and tastefully decorated, from the detailed door frames to the rugs. I wasn't expecting nice little supplies of soap, shampoo and lotion. The bed covers and linens were new and crisp. It was so pleasant having a fire in the fireplace and outside at the firepit. One of the most serene places was the big back porch. It overlooks a big running stream and has ample seating. I stayed 5 days and it was a great experience!

Relaxing stay in beautiful woods

  • 5 of 5

Lovely return to the Lodge. We have visited in spring & summer so it was great to see the falls & river partially frozen, it was a magical sight in the mornings. We always do some painting/sketching of the surroundings. Lodge is very clean & well maintained & has everything you need, you can hear the river from the Lodge. Stores are a short drive away if you need something. The owner(s) are always quick to respond & helpful if you need something or just giving information about the area. The cemetery is a quick walk & interesting to explore. The surrounding woods are a great hike & the Lehigh river is beautiful. Austin T. Blakeslee area is a short drive & a nice hike.

We can't wait to return.
