Why Grant chose Blakeslee

No matter the season, you will not find a better setting to relax and unwind. With the Lehigh River flowing just below the deck, it's easy to get lost in the beauty of the area. Take in all the Poconos have to offer in every season here at the Lehigh Lodge.

What makes this cabin unique

The Lodge is hidden away well enough to provide peace, quiet, and serenity during your stay, but close to local attractions like Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski resorts, Lake Harmony, golfing, numerous restaurants, and plenty of other sights to see and places to visit.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The pictures and description do not do the property justice. Place was extremely clean, well equipped and wonderfully warm and comfortable. The decorating is very tasteful and they have done wonders with a small space. The view perched above a bend in the Lehigh River is beautiful. We saw a bald eagle soar by just before we left. We plan on returning for each of the four seasons. Shopping for whatever you need is minutes away.

Quaint, cozy, and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at The Lehigh Lodge. It had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend. The beauty of the wood throughout the house, the gorgeous stained glass window , and the beautifully remodeled bathroom ( although the shower is very tight) added to the ambiance of the gorgeous location. We sat outside most nights to a lovely fire in the provided fire pit, counting stars and listening to the river. During the day we roamed the nearby area and found the incredible mill ruins by the waterfall. A short drive away we found Hickory Run Park and had fun exploring more water falls and the imprssive Boulder Field, a must see. We look forward to coming back soon!

Best place to stay in the Poconos

  • 5 of 5

We have been here several times and we love the R & R feeling. The sound of the River when you sit on the back screened in porch is the best. We love the fireplace and the all around feeling of just being out in the serene quiet. We bring everything we need and really don't have to get out which is what we love. We will be back next year. The owners are super nice and the place always is clean and rustic looking. If you are looking for quiet this is the place to be.

PEACEFUL AND QUITE

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay, everything was great, from the flow of the river out back to the peaceful and quite surroundings, I went there for rest and relaxation, and that's just what I got, the property was well maintained, and very clean, and thank you Grant for staying on the phone with me until I found the location. I would definitely rent this cabin again in the near future, Thank you so much for a perfect vacation.

Loved our stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge this past weekend for our anniversary and had a lovely time. It ended up being a rainy weekend but we were completely happy to relax by the fire place and watch the rain over the river. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own fire starters and long matches/lighter. We assumed they would be provided but we made due with the little bit of dry kindling we cold find our first night and then went to the nearby CVS to find some fire starters. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend at the Lodge and highly recommend it!

Special place!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful and extremely comfortable home. Sitting on the wonderful screened-in porch while looking at the river is such a peaceful experience. When it gets cold, go inside and build a roaring fire in the big stone fireplace, curl up on the comfy couch and watch a movie or read... Such a relaxing getaway. We have traveled on the road for a month, and it truly was the most relaxing place we stayed!
