About the property

Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 6)

This cottage has the ambiance due to the nature of its furnishing with antiqe furniture, and the fact that the kitchen, although small, is well equipped.

Enjoy the historical nature of this area or the physical activities available. A short trip to waihi beach for swimming or shopping for antiques in Paeroa. Drive through to Thames or over the hill to the Coromandal. Mackay town stands at the beginning of the Rahu valley and a visit to Bullswool farm park is thoroughly recommended.

This area is full of goldmining history and a visit to both museums at Waihi and Paeroa are also recommend.

Special conditions:

*Minimum stay of two nights

*Large garden which is dog proof but probably not for a great Dane

Extras: Cleaning (included); Linen (included);

This cottage is super comfortable.

This cottage is super comfortable. It has been recently renovated and very clean. The section is very picturesque and Duncan and Charade (the potters next door) were very friendly and helpful and added greatly to our stay.

Beautiful spacious and clean cottage with gorgeous interior decor. It was like staying in somebody's lovely home rather than at a bach. The garden is very big, set in a quiet valley. Our dog loved it so much she could have easily moved in (so could I...). The kitchen is well equipped and we loved eating from the botanical themed tableware. A great experience all round. Thanks!

A peaceful, characterful cottage with everything you could need for a relaxed, cosy and comfortable holiday. Our family of 4 adults, two young children and one very excited old dog had plenty of space in the cottage and the large, fully fenced garden was a great bonus. It was the perfect base for our adventures with something for everyone; Bullswool Farm park, Karangahake Gorge Historic walkways (walking, trail running and cycling friendly), Owharoa Falls...we ran out of time to see it all!

The Cottage has plenty of room and a huge yard in a very quiet location but is still only minutes by car to shops and restaurants in the surrounding towns. It is also close to local gorge and waterfall attractions. Only wish there was Wi-Fi but other than that, a very homely and comfortable bach.
