This cottage has the ambiance due to the nature of its furnishing with antiqe furniture, and the fact that the kitchen, although small, is well equipped.
Enjoy the historical nature of this area or the physical activities available. A short trip to waihi beach for swimming or shopping for antiques in Paeroa. Drive through to Thames or over the hill to the Coromandal. Mackay town stands at the beginning of the Rahu valley and a visit to Bullswool farm park is thoroughly recommended.
This area is full of goldmining history and a visit to both museums at Waihi and Paeroa are also recommend.
Large garden which is dog proof but probably not for a great Dane
Absolutely Beautiful. The cottage is magical and relaxing with lovely peaceful surroundings and the interior is gorgeous, Miranda has fantastic taste in interiors :)
Great location and very well equipped. The log fire was lovely, particularly on a cold wet weekend!
A late review because we both thought the other had left one. What a wonderful place, has absolutely everything you could want, more a home away from home than a bach. You will absolutely love this cottage
We loves this property. Very cosy with lots of space. The master bedroom is fantastic. Massive back garden, however if you have a dog that likes to explore, the property isn't fully secure. Wasn't an issue for our do though.
This is a great property with easy access for cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail. Great for kids and pets with the huge garden and the fencing. It's a wonderful getaway for both summer and winter and we will definitely be back.
