Peaceful setting but close to everything

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our brief stay at this house. The front porch looks over fields, with horses grazing close by. It's very tranquil without being too rustic, and it was a great place to get together with family. We were 5, and it would work well with no more than 6. Nice for cooking and relaxing. We used it as a base for nearby hiking (Chimney Rock) and poking around Hendersonville. We hope to come back! Thanks

Beautiful home and area.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed this lovely home in a wonderful area. My one suggestion would be to update some of the cookware, can opener and toaster. Overall it was a great place to stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing at the end of the day.

Stunning getaway! The perfect mix of opulence and rustic charm!

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed a three day getaway in this stunning cabin! From the moment you walk in, you are surrounded by stunning architecture, beautiful furnishings, and a dream kitchen with everything you might possibly need. Bedrooms were very comfortable and looked like they belonged on HGTV! My (older) parents stayed in the beautiful first floor master. The master jacuzzi tub was the perfect retreat after a long day of hiking and site seeing. The bedroom upstairs had an incredibly comfortable bed for myself and my husband and next to us was a large room that was perfect for our two children with two twin beds. The bathroom upstairs had a large shower tub combination with great water pressure and deliciously hot water. All bathrooms had gorgeous handcrafted sinks that will inspire my own home makeover in the future. The living room was perfect for lounging and the best part was the well appointed back porch. Plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the gorgeous mountain views! If you're thinking of booking a mountain getaway, look no further, THIS is the place! We can't wait to come back again to stay in the future!

Secluded country get away convienient to everything

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time here. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable, private and in the perfect location on our way from the north Atlanta suburbs to the Asheville area. Grocery stores and I-26 are less than 10 minutes away and the Biltmore/Asheville are about 30. Feels like you are staying out in the country, compete with horses grazing next door, yet you are close to everything you could need. Plan one evening just to enjoy the home and beautiful property. Pictures can't do it justice. We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful Home and wonderful area!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and two adult kids were visiting the area to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and visit with family that lives in Hendersonville. The cottage is wonderful and made our stay so much more enjoyable than staying in two hotel rooms. The view is spectacular of the mountains and has beautifully maintained landscape and surrounding property. We had two bunnies greet us every afternoon out the back door and three sweet horses in the neighbors pasture. The horses loved to be petted (we assumed it was okay) and were super friendly. The interior of the house is rustic country with all modern amenities (stainless steel appliances, DirecTV, WiFi) and very comfortable. We visited the Sierra Nevada Brewery, Chimney Rock Park, Asheville for great food and more micro brews, downtown Hendersonville (Mezzaluna's has great food), and the Biltmore Estate. Needless to say, the experience was wonderful and Lori (the owner) was very courteous and attentive. I would definitely stay again!
