About the property

Our modern cottage has privacy and comfort but walkable to so much in East Nash!

Secure your East Nashville lodging in this modern tiny house now. The cottage is a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the heart of the hippest hood in Music City. Minutes to downtown and walking distance to restaurants, boutiques, bars, and coffee shops.

Our tiny house is 250sf of pure coziness! A perfect getaway for a couple or a single person looking for some rest & relaxation or a musician, writer, or artist in need of a warm and inviting space to create in. It may be small, but the celestial windows and two sets of French doors make it feel open and inviting. The French doors open up to a small deck that's a great place to enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine, or a sip of bourbon.

The tiny house shares the backyard with our small, historic home. We could be staying at the main house, or it could be rented out to other guests. Either way, you'll have your own private entrance and parking space through our back alley gate, and your privacy will be respected.

Our tiny house sits on a quiet street that's a block from a popular neighborhood bakery and breakfast spot you should definitely try if you enjoy pastries and meeting friendly locals. A few blocks' walk to award-winning local restaurants and bars on Eastland Avenue (including Two Ten Jack, Silly Goose, Jeni's Ice Cream, Eastland Cafe & more) and James Beard-nominated restaurant Lockeland Table on Woodland Avenue, we are also a short walk to Five Points, where you'll find restaurants, bars, music venues, shopping, and more. Great food, music, and activities are everywhere in this neighborhood!

Our tiny house is 2.5 miles away from LP Field where the Tennessee Titans play and 3.3 miles from Bridgestone Arena where the Nashville Predators play. Additionally, we're only 3 miles to downtown/Broadway area honkytonks. We are an 8-mile/15-minute drive to the Grand Ole Opry and Opryland and within walking distance of the Shelby golf course and beautiful Shelby Park.

We are less than 9 miles from the BNA airport, a few blocks from a city bus stop, and average Lyft/Uber ride fares to and from downtown from our place cost between $5 - $10.

Very clean and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I came to Nashville on an overnight trip from Southwest Georgia on a birthday trip to the Grand Ole Opry. Check-In was very easy and the Tiny House was clean and comfortable. Staying here was much better than just getting a room at a hotel and Harmoni & Matt had refreshments and snacks available when we arrived. We were in and out with no problems what-so-ever and enjoyed the ease and convenience of our stay.

Tiny house!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, good bedding. Beats the hell out of staying in a hotel! you have your own porch and own little yard.

Neat, efficient, little space

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay, especially when sitting on the spacious porch, listening to the birds and watching them frolic and play. The neighbourhood is quiet and full of large trees. The space inside is very creatively compact and everything worked very well. There are lots of towels, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. and they even left us a large package of coffee to use. The A/C was responsive, as was the hot water, and every kitchen gadget is there that one might need. Highly recommended and the price can’t be beat.

Be sure to know you must enter the property from the lane at back of Matt and Harmoni's main house. We arrived by taxi and wasted time on the front walkway and driveways on either side of the house, trying to see how we could get into the tiny house at the back. You can't. We had the taxi driver drive us up the lane and there it was, about halfway along the lane behind a new-looking set of gates.

One and one-half blocks away is a wonderful bakery (Sweet 16th) run by a delightful couple. We used take-out and highly recommend their lasagna and the peanut butter square with chocolate - to die for! We had their scrumptious breakfast sandwich almost every morning. I like to make our own breakfast but couldn’t stay away from that home-made biscuit and fluffy egg concoction.

If you have a car, then Grand Ole Opry is an easy drive. We used the bus system but did have to wait out in the hot sun quite a bit. But the Shelby bus 4 gets you into town quite nicely and conveniently stops right outside the Sweet 16th Bakery. For our last 2 days, we rented a car and then transportation out to the Opry was a piece of cake and parking was free at the mall right across the street.

Nashville is a great music town to visit. We enjoyed our time there and would love to return.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the thorough review and kind words on the tiny house. This section of East Nashville really is walkable, beautiful, and inviting with great people and great food everywhere. I'd definitely recommend using Lyft or Uber on a future visit for an efficient and affordable way of getting around town. I did want to correct one error -- You definitely can access the tiny house from the front of the house, and our house info in the hospitality manager here on the site (available to all guests who book) gives clear instructions on which gates (the front/side gate or the back alley gate) are accessible and to please not walk through either of the neighbor's driveways on either side, as we don't have a driveway. :)

Great location had enough space for 2 people

  • 4 of 5

This tiny house has everything you need for a couple or a couple with one child. The location is ideal for exploring everything that Nashville had to offer. It had a nice parking area for one vehicle and within walking distance to quite a few good restaurants and a top notch ice cream place. Would love to stay here again! The neighbors were also very friendly when we walked the area.

Great Stay at H&M Tiny House in East Nashville

  • 5 of 5

The Tiny House in East Nashvilke met all of our needs for the three day stay in Nashville. The location was great because it was close to downtown Nashville and not far from things in East Nashville. It was a very quiet location because it was off the street behind the owner's house. If you need to get away for a quiet retreat, this is the place for you. It was stocked with snacks, beer, flavored water, coffee. I think we will try to book this house when we return to Nashville.

A pleasant little cottage in a great part of town

  • 5 of 5

I loved my stay at the Tiny House in Nashville. I wish I could have stayed longer. Generous amenities (beer and sparkling water in the fridge, how cool!) pleasant decor, and an extremely comfortable bed. It really did feel like a getaway, and I look forward to returning.
