Lovely Fall Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We were visiting Stowe for our nephew's wedding and booked this wonderful cabin. It was the perfect setting with lots of space to relax. It was very spacious and could have easily slept 10 or 12 people, although we had just four people and our golden retriever. It was a wonderful area to walk with our dog and enjoy the beautiful foliage. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of dining and lounge space. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the view.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great location near Stowe with everything you need.

  • 4 of 5

Sonya was a pleasure to work with. The house has a great location on the hillside at the edge of the beautiful town of Stowe. We loved the peacefulness but with so many great amenities right near by. Ziplining at Mount Mansfield and the Water Park at Jay Peak resort were highlights. We also loved the brook at the bottom of the garden, the hot tub and the bikes (Sonya has these available at the property) to ride along the Rec path. Thanks Sonya for a great stay!

Great family vacation spot

  • 5 of 5

Ten of us (two families with children 0-10 yrs) stayed here comfortably for 4 nights in July 2016. The chalet was nicely set up and had everything we needed. One in our party was on crutches, but with a bed room and the kitchen on one level, that was not a big problem. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck that seemingly overhangs into the woods.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to the biking trail back to Stowe and to driving locations. Many nearby outdoor options are available, but we mostly hiked in the mountains, played in the creek (brook in VT), and fly fished. For fly fisherman, the chalet is located near headwater streams with smaller brook trout eager to take a dry fly.

There is no A/C and it's a little dark inside-the place could use a few brighter lamps. But overall, these were minor issues, and we'd love to come back!

Wonderful late winter weekend in Stowe!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time staying at this cabin in Stowe; very close to the ski resort, as well as the Von Trapp lodge, hiking, etc. The house was even nicer than we expected, with plenty of space, everything you need for cooking, and super comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed having the wood burning stove and hot tub. Sonya was responsive and very accommodating throughout the booking process and during our stay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!
