About the apartment:

This stunning 2-bedroom is located on the 2nd floor of a secure residential Hausmannian building with an elevator. The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished and gives a sense of tranquillity and calmness throughout.

Upon entering the apartment, you are greeted by the light and spacious living area with a large comfortable sofa, coffee table and small writing desk. There is a flat screen TV with cable and a free Wi-Fi connection. Through the large French windows, you can access the private wrap-around balcony from which you can enjoy views of Paris as well as the Place Monge market that takes place several days per week.

Off of the living room you will find a chic and luminous dining area with a table and chairs for 4 people. The dining room also has balcony access. It is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a home-cooked meal made with the fresh produce from the market across the street.

The American kitchen features modern deisgns and is fully equipped with all the necessary tools you would need to cook a full meal. It has a 4-plate electric stove top, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, teakettle, toaster, microwave and more. Full sets of cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots and pans and other utensils. There is also a clothes washing and drying machine so that you can launder your clothing during your stay and save room in your luggage for some special souvenirs from France.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, night tables and bed lamps as well as a flat screen television with cable. There is a large closet with space to hang and store your belongings. The windows are double glazed so you can get a quiet night’s sleep while still being in the center of it all. The second bedroom has a double bed, plenty of closet space and a small sofa. All bedding, sheets and pillows are provided and you will find the beds neatly made on arrival.

Next to the two bedrooms lies the contemporary bathroom, nicely fitted with a combination bathtub/shower, large hand sink and hair dryer. There is a separate water closet with a toilet just next to the bathroom. Complementary toilet rolls, shampoos, shower gels and hand soap will be provided to start off your stay. Luxurious bath towels are provided for 4 people.

The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning but we will be happy to provide you with fans for your stay should warm weather be in the forecast. A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and a tour of the apartment and its appliances, help you to connect to the Wi-Fi and more. You’ll find a personal guidebook in the apartment with tips and suggestions on where to eat and shop in Paris.

About the 5th Arrondissement:

If you weren’t yet convinced to book from the apartment itself, just consider the property’s location steps from the hugely popular St Michel, St Germain and Jardin des Plantes. At your doorstep you’ll find a huge array of restaurants, bistros, cafés, ice cream parlours, florists, artisan chocolatiers, art galleries and much more!

Just across the street is the famous Place Monge market, offering a wide selection of fresh produce and textiles. Open many days throughout the week, shopping at this market will put you among the locals as you bargain for produce and fresh cheeses and meats. There is also the famous Rue Mouffetard, which offers a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, butchers, grocers and more!

Within walking distance of the apartment is the fantastic Pantheon, the resting place of many important French figures. The Jardin des Plantes is 10 minutes walk away - perfect for a morning jog, afternoon picnic or sunset stroll. The River Seine is also within walking distance and you can go to the Notre Dame Cathedral easily by foot.

The nearest metro station, Place Monge (Line 7) is one block away from the apartment, and makes it easy to access other areas of the capital. Just hop on the Metro to reach St Germain, the Marais, Montmartre and the Sacre Cœur, the Eiffel Tower and more!

- Pets. Unfortunately furry friends are not allowed in any of our homes.

REAL PARISIAN LIVING

This apartment rental was just the thing my family was looking for. It is a beautiful flat with Parisian charm, old creaky floors and all. There is a small balcony to make you feel truly Parisian as you sip on your morning espresso. The bed is huge in the Master bedroom, really comfortable, and the second bedroom is cozy as well. The Latin Quarter is our favourite quarter in all of Paris and it was a dream come to true to be staying in the heart of it. The Monge market is visible from the balcony and takes place a few times per week. All the staff at were so friendly and helpful throughout our process – from pricing and availability to making a reservation and comfortably arriving to the apartment (A huge plus? They all speak perfect English so don’t worry about brushing up on your French before you arrive). Merci beaucoup!

Great Parisian Getaway

I recently stayed in Paul's flat with my mother and my two daughters for a girls' getaway in Paris. We definitely picked the right location for visiting the city. The rue Mouffetard is just up the hill with tons of restaurants and the best creperie in Paris (just look for the place with the looong line). The apartment is just a 2 minute walk from the beautiful Jardin of Plantes (which are divine in the summer months). The flat itself had plenty of room for the 4 of us with two separate bedrooms, a living area, a dining room and a kitchen. My mother was pleased to be able to cook in our apartment after buying fresh produce at the market across the street. The apartment is was very clean and we were provided with fresh sheets and towels on arrival. I just loved the creaky old wooden floors which added a certain element of charm to the flat. I would not hesitate to rent here again.

Stylish, spacious and excellent location!

We spent five fabulous nights here with our 8yo and 10yo children. The apartment is beautiful with lots of space for everyone to relax after busy days out in Paris. We particularly loved "happy hour" on the balcony and being able to pop across the road to get fresh produce from the markets. There is also a metro stop across the road and various supermarkets close by. It is a short walk to the Roman Arena, the Jardin des Plantes and the Luxembourg Gardens which are so much fun with kids. Loved it!

Awesome location and experience

This was an awesome experience! Everything was exactly as described. The location was perfect and we felt like real Parisians! The communication with the Paul was very quick and thorough. His assistant met us at the exact time we had set up for key pick up. The apartment was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The open air market across the street was fun and the Cafe below was very convenient. We had a great time exploring Rue Mouffetard which is only a street over...it was full of restaurants, bars, cafés, and chocolatiers. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful place, loved the size, made it all the more luxurious. Bright-spacious and almost shiny.

We were 2 people stayed only a few days in End of February surprisingly weather was good cold but sunny. The flat is well located , so many places to visit , cute bakeries everywhere and quaint bistro cafes. The well equipped kitchen and the wrap around balcony were a bonus:, not forgetting the staff who greeted me was accommodating and friendly.

Over all we enjoyed our stay very much and recommend it to everyone who want to experience French atmosphere in a clean and cute yet still luxurious accommodation, not in a hotel but in your own place.
